@h-bird I was thinking the 6000 employees vs 60 employees, but I don't know.
Asked DST if we could get a photo of Crimson Dynamo next to Titanium Man or any other select. Let's see if that happens. Weirdly they don't do that even with the FF characters.
it sounds like you feel strongly that this won't workI don't feel strongly, I just don't find it "easy" to explain and was wondering how you guys are doing it. Maybe his feet are mid-shin to knee level and he's essentially standing on stilts. The shins look a little thin for that, but maybe they're packed in there, it's certainly possible. I like that a lot better than the Titanium Man explanation of the guy inside being a giant.
Yep, that's the only thing that makes much sense--except that this Crimson Dynamo doesn't look nearly as chonky as the Titanium Man in that diagram with the wide arms and legs. This new Dynamo also looks lankier than the Select Titanium Man, but perhaps in hand Dynamo won't look too thin for his feet to stand inside of the suit legs as what I think I'm seeing in the prototype pics.

Our friend MSWord shared one on his Insta.
Speaking of, I hope he returns to the forums soon!
I just got back into this line after only collecting MCU figures. Some of the newer ones are among the best they have ever made.
Grabbed Blade, Human Torch, Mr. Fantastic, and a few more.
They are knocking it out of the park lately, and now Im circling back to grab X-Men characters. Rogue is a giant pain to get without costing an arm & leg.
That's probably because Rogue is one of the best figures they've made. I have one that I was actually trying to sell off. I don't know what the protocol for that is, now that there's no trade forum.
Norm, what are you asking for her?
@normdapito Totally agree. So classic in every way. Cant wait to get Sue to join the Fantastic Three (reallly hoping MS changes course and makes a new Thing).
We can't make a new Thing, sorry. But the old one looks good with the full team.

I am a little concerned about the leathery look on the limbs.
Ah, I noticed that something felt a little off and that would probably be it. I'm personally not bothered by it, but it's an odd choice for a guy that's supposed to be a giant insect.
If I recall correctly, the original Annihilus was a small insect inside an artificial body, but I could be wrong. Not sure which Annihilus we are on at this point in the comics.
Parts are still being finalized, but I believe the accessories shown will mostly happen -- we'll see what happens when we solicit the figure. There may actually be some alternate wing pieces as well, but I'll try to keep everyone posted.
The time has really come for a classic Select Iron Man. Hopefully better executed than their classic Capt Americas
No plans for a classic Iron Man, although we are working on a few more armored characters. The new Captain America we're making will likely be called one of the best Cap figures ever made, by anyone, I honestly believe that. Proto pics were not set together perfectly, but I hope we'll have a test shot at NYTF or NYCC.
I've done the opposite of most people and have tried to fudge a few Marvel Legends into my Select collection and they really stick out like a sore thumb. MODOK comes to mind—the figure scales excellently and it boasts a unique sculpt, but the unpainted, pearl-gold plastic on it looks incredibly out of place next to the nice metallic finishes on figures in my collection like Marvel Select Silver Centurion. I still keep MODOK with my Selects since I have nowhere else to put it that would make sense, but I'll occasionally notice how much it stands out and cringe.
If you don't care about MODOK arm and leg articulation, we're putting out a very cool Marvel Gallery Diorama of him. Not 100% sure of the height, but with the jet blast it's going to be bigger than most Select figures, and he's another guy whose size varies greatly.
Thanks for the kind words, all, glad I finally checked on the status of the forum again! After a few weeks of it being down (and that after a week or two of my account not working), I had given up on ever returning. I will pass along your compliments to the team, although you will surely have MORE compliments once we show off a few more figures at NYTF and NYCC next month. Annihilus and a new X-Man are nearing completion, and Cap is getting closer to release! 2024 line planning is ongoing, but we've got another armored figure in the works, and we're talking about what movie figures we can do and what big comic guys we can do.
I don't think Annihilus will be taller than other Selects, as he is very wide. Crimson Dynamo should work for everyone, unless he doesn't.

Glad to have you back, and thanks for bringing the news! Looking forward to Annihilus and the new X-Men. Though hopefully the Annihilus will be a little bigger.
Nice to see you back here, MSWord! Always appreciate your contributions here.
Any chance you know what the delay is with Iceman at Entertainment Earth? He's been widely available elsewhere for a while.
