I'm still hoping for a really nice 8-inch Select Odin figure in full Simonson regalia. *swoon*
@h-bird Besides the fact that its a much smaller company with different overhead and quarterly earning expectations? Maybe the articulation and licensing fees make a difference.

Some advanced pics of Sue. Love the effects! But I'm afraid I still don't see Sue in the facesculpt, thinking about switching it out for McFarlane's new Supergirl and using IW's for custom Emma.
Her arms look short…
Her arms look short…
This is a recurring problem with recent Selects. Vision, Mr. Fantastic...they all have T-Rex arms. And Sue also has extra long legs, which makes the problem even more apparent.
That's been the style with Vision and Reed as well unfortunately.
I think I agree with you too, that face doesn't evoke Sue Storm. This is like a resting bish face. I see sue as more.. I donno, optimistic? Less pissed? It's a really pretty sculpt, but doesn't "look" like Sue. I'm sure I'll get used to it.
Yeah, the headsculpt has felt off to me from the beginning. I don't think it's bad, but it doesn't feel like the character. At least it's not the Retro Marvel Legends headsculpt, which makes it look like she was repeatedly stung by a swarm of bees.
Her headsculpt works better as Emma than Sue Richards. I may just pass on her and the MS FF. With Torch being too tall and disproportionate and Sue not looking like Sue, it may be easiest to skip the whole team.
it sounds like you feel strongly that this won't workI don't feel strongly, I just don't find it "easy" to explain and was wondering how you guys are doing it. Maybe his feet are mid-shin to knee level and he's essentially standing on stilts. The shins look a little thin for that, but maybe they're packed in there, it's certainly possible. I like that a lot better than the Titanium Man explanation of the guy inside being a giant.

Yep, that's the only thing that makes much sense--except that this Crimson Dynamo doesn't look nearly as chonky as the Titanium Man in that diagram with the wide arms and legs. This new Dynamo also looks lankier than the Select Titanium Man, but perhaps in hand Dynamo won't look too thin for his feet to stand inside of the suit legs as what I think I'm seeing in the prototype pics.
Comic books!
Titanium Man literally became a giant even without the armor. He was a huge guy, and then he took a ton of Soviet steroids on top of that.
Crimson Dynamo should just be taller than regular sized people and bulky due to the thickness of the armor and the boot jets acting like lifts in the boots.
