I could see Dynamo working in both ML and MS collections, but I'm a little more forgiving on scale when it comes to big characters.

If you lower his head (which it should have been anyway) it will help bring him down a little.

I knew there was something slightly off, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. I guess that's also why I prefer how the figure looks with the unmasked head—it seems to sit in a position closer to your edit. Seeing one of the helmeted heads sit in that position makes me like it more. Hopefully the mod is easy.

For me that figure is too gorgeous to worry about it, and the advantage of being armor is that it's easy to justify.

Easy?  Maybe you can help me then...is his head in the helmet, and are his feet in the boots where we see feet on the armor?  Because unless he's 7' 5" I don't see how I justify him being 7' 9" in the armor at Legends scale unless he's at LEAST 7 feet tall without it.

This is explained with later versions of Venom where the 6' 3" Eddie Brock can grow to 7, 8, or 9 feet as Venom because his feet raise up into the legs and are perhaps around the knee level with the symbiote extending down to fill in the rest, but how does a regular human fit into that armor?  The only way it makes sense is if his feet are pointing down and end about halfway down the shins, and his belly button is closer to the level of his pecs with his head being fully in the helmet.  I suppose that justifies it, although I'm sure that's not how he is in the comics and his feet are just in the boots where feet are designed to go.

Ultimately it's up to you to display what you want and make sense of it however you like, and it sounds like you feel strongly that this won't work - which is fine! But yes it is easy enough (for me) to imagine that a suit of armor might somehow accommodate making someone stand much taller than they actually are. And there's plenty of comic art to show him standing much taller than his listed height, though of course comic scaling varies wildly artist-to-artist.

This version of the Titanium Man armor is listed as being 8'9".

Select Titanium Man only works for ML because of the ridiculous backstory that Boris Bullski is an 11' giant who also wears a suit of armor. If I can accept that, I can accept that either Anton Vanko is 7' tall, or that the armor can somehow fit in a way that makes a man of average height stand two feet taller than he is.

Totally agree, @h-bird  I'm not as anal as I used to be about scale, so long as the figure looks good. And this one looks spectacular.

As long as they come close to scaling how they look in the comic panels, that's really what makes or breaks it for me in a display.  I know comic panels can vary greatly, so it still comes down to personal preference of which comic panels I suppose.

This Crimson Dynamo will fit in perfectly with my ML collection in my eyes.  Especially since I already have the other Select big boys in there to help balance things.

I don't feel strongly, I just don't find it "easy" to explain and was wondering how you guys are doing it.  Maybe his feet are mid-shin to knee level and he's essentially standing on stilts.  The shins look a little thin for that, but maybe they're packed in there, it's certainly possible.  I like that a lot better than the Titanium Man explanation of the guy inside being a giant.

I tend to feel MS figures won’t fit in with ML not necessarily because of size, but more because of quality. The best MS figures are usually painted really well, and have 100% unique sculpts, and you’re not gonna find that with Hasbro ML.

Yep, that's a good observation. I've done the opposite of most people and have tried to fudge a few Marvel Legends into my Select collection and they really stick out like a sore thumb. MODOK comes to mind—the figure scales excellently and it boasts a unique sculpt, but the unpainted, pearl-gold plastic on it looks incredibly out of place next to the nice metallic finishes on figures in my collection like Marvel Select Silver Centurion. I still keep MODOK with my Selects since I have nowhere else to put it that would make sense, but I'll occasionally notice how much it stands out and cringe.

Of course, that's just my personal preference and everyone is entitled to display things how they want. I'm actually happy that Hasbro collectors occasionally dip into the Select line, because more sales is good for everyone involved.

I agree with you all about the quality of MS. I just wanted to add that the value for these are great. For the same price point as say, a McFarlane "Collector Edition" figure, we're getting great sculpts, great paint apps and a bevy of accessories. Don't know if you're signed up to the new forum yet, MSWORD, but if so...thank you and your team for this! It's appreciated.

So many MS figures really are next-level. It kinda baffles me how they can put out fully unique sculpts with accessories, great detailing, etc. at $30. Is it the lower articulation count on most figures that makes the difference? Are they paying smaller licensing fees? I just don't get it.

Maybe it's not that DST is offering their figures at a great value, maybe it's just that everyone else is fleecing us. 😆
