I wonder when we'll get a better look at Deadpool. I'm surprised they didn't go up at the same time since they're obviously meant to be paired.

I think Wolverine is probably a pretty good figure, but the posing is really distracting. He isn't even standing normally lol

Wolverine is a resin prototype, he's very hard to pose -- I'll try to get him in hand to re-shoot, but unlikely until there is a production sample. 

Deadpool was not approved in time. He'll be offered next month. 

Any chance wolvie has a second ball joint at the waist do you reckon (a la McFarlane, Jada etc)?

At least for 7" movie figures, neither of which I personally collect - but great work by Marvel Select nonetheless!

I primarily only collect 6" scale based comic figures but have fudged a few Select figs into my collection over the years anyway (MCU Chitauri, Mephisto, Mistress Death, Lucky the Pizza Dog, Cosmic Hulk, Crimson Dynamo, Titanium Man, Illuminati Super Skrull, Brood/Skrull army builders, etc.). I'm sure there's more than I'm just forgetting at the moment. I've bought all of Diamond's figures from the Invincible animated show as well and generally really like their work! I just tend to personally prefer a smaller scale and more articulation.

• Msword - a bit off topic, but the batteries in my Select BTTF CAR corroded and after cleaning wont work. I wondered if you know of any BTTF forums or videos that show to fix this. Thanks and eagerly awaiting my Red Hulk, Cap, and Annihilus figures fr DCBS

@mr_articulate I'm going to guess your car isn't going to work anymore.  I've had this happen to a few toys.  You definitely need to take batteries out for long storage of toys.  I have a DST Enterprise D which just won't work anymore.  It doesn't even look like the batteries corroded.  And new ones don't do anything.  Something has just gone wrong.  Lots of these toys aren't designed to be opened up either.  Always thought it would be neat if a toy with electronics was designed to allow the removal of the entire battery section for easier future repairs.

So... what are we thinking the odds are that the upcoming Hobgoblin figure gets repurposed as a Green Goblin down the line? There's already 2 Gobbies in the MS line, but both of them have flaws (first one has lousy articulation, second one has lousy articulation AND a stylized sculpt!), we could really use a standard, classic Green Goblin!

We announced Annihilus in January, War Machine over the summer, re-issued Gamerverse Spider-Man, and solicited Deadpool and Wolverine. Hobgoblin will be offered December 20. It's been kind of a light year.

I do not have a fix for you, sorry. Make sure you scrub the corrosion off of the contacts, but beyond that I'm not sure what to do. 

So looking forward to Annihilus.
