Honestly - if MS did a good classic Blastaar I'd buy it so fast and stop whining about Hasbro not doing it and pretending like they were good with the half assed version they slid into the con-exclusive box set. This might have slid to the top of the "things I want from Marvel Select" list.
While I am happy to have the Annihilation version of Blastaar because that storyline is so awesome, I'd still love a classic version. I have no problems mixing characters like him or Annihilus into my Legends line.
I did get to talk to Zach Oat again this year. A whole year since seeing both Archangel and Annihilus on display and still not having either in hand. Zach did reveal to me what the next MCU figure would be but asked me to keep it to myself. Honestly, I almost already forgot!

The Diamond panel was at the same time as the Hasbro panel, so I couldn’t attend to find out. I left right after the Hasbro panel. I think they could have some new stuff to show this weekend though.

New photos of Archangel show that his costume is textured. It's light but definitely not something I noticed previously. It's a little McFarlane-esque. You can see it on ToyArk's photos.
The detail on Archangel looks great. I'm really going to miss not having butterfly joints on him.
The fact that Annihilus looks like he's glued together at the waist (and therefore likely not a production piece) does not give me a ton of confidence that he'll be shipping any day now like I've been hoping.

It could very easily just be that they have a model specifically for cons, and they've been carting it around for months now so probably best not to assume the worst! I'm just excited for him, is all!
