@msword Any update on Archangel release date? Thanks for always being active and helpful here.
I do not, but it should be here by end of year, possibly fall.
Wings are ball-jointed, and as far as I know removable so you can use a folded-wing piece.
Not 100% sure about a flight stand, but that would certainly be nice.
It feels like it's been a while. Anything update?
What was the latest release, Cap? That was a pretty straight forward figure. The next ones are Archangel and Annihilus, both pretty ambitious in terms of engineering and parts. I appreciate them taking a bit longer if it means they’re getting it perfect.
I just opened Crimson Dynamo.
A+ on the accessories and display options.
A on the paint. There's barely any, but what's there is good. The human head is great.
B on articulation, overall. Some parts are fantastic (shoulders, outward motion of hips, ankles) some are disappointing (elbows, knees).
He'll be spending his days helmeted so I'll need to find another use for the great head he comes with.

Definitely do that. Never waste great head.
I see that BBTS has a listing for the Select Thanos with Death back up for pre-order. Honestly, this is one of my favorite Marvel Select figures ever (Uatu and Mephisto probably still have him beat) It's such a great, imposing Thanos figure and the inclusion of Lady Death - even as an unarticulated figurine is such a great extra. For anyone that missed this previously it's frankly awesome that they are still selling it for the same price (or less) than Hasbro would sell a deluxe Legends Thanos at this point.
I highly recommend.

Yes, but what about Uatu the Watcher?
That Thanos figure has been in my collection forever and it really is great. He got replaced by the ML deluxe classic Thanos because it is also a phenomenal figure that scales much better. But Death will always remain.
Yes, I approve this message. That Thanos was in my collection for years until I too eventually went with the Hasbro deluxe King Thanos. Just like @h-bird though I still have Mistress Death there!
I also love the the Legends Thanos - I just use that one with the alternate old man head for a different spot in the display and use both. But Mistress Death is indeed the true highlight of the Select offering.
And hmberto I don't know why you would maliciously edit my quoted tweet like that 😉

I'm a rascal!
It's wild how Mephisto and Uatu have been unchallenged by a Marvel Legends version for, what? 20 years? Bless you Diamond.
Uatu is the exact kind of figure ML would pass on. He's not action-oriented, doesn't easily slot into a wave, doesn't have much re-use, etc. Mephisto is an insult. Too bad MS can't reissue that one.
Except they did make The Watcher, he was just styled differently.
I think it's the shape of the head - there's no way that baby-doll sized head fits in ML packaging and I wouldn't want it cut in half in any direction - there's no clear slice point like Sugar Man. Now that ML can do big, closed boxes he might have a chance.
Uatu is also tough because he's usually depicted in the comics as being MUCH larger than the Select figure, and few would want to devote that much space to him or pay that high a price for him. From the start he was shown as being close in size to Galactus, and most later versions I've seen show him that large as well.
I haven't seen comics with him later than around the 1990s though so perhaps they depicted him being closer to human size later on, not sure.
