Any news about the Annihilus and captain American?
Captain America we are tweaking the packaging. But I should get a production sample today, to test it out, so hopefully packaging approval will go quickly and he will be available in January.
Annihilus will possibly be offered for pre-order in late December, unless we go a different route. There is another figure we may offer first. We'll see.
Hope that’s a classic Blastaar to go with that Annihilus.
Another figure? Was it Captain Marvel? I hope the Annihilus isn't Disney Store exclusive (because if it is it means I won't be able to buy it).
Like I've said many times before, I don't see myself using those invisible parts because I don't like transluscent figures - the clearly visible white pins break the illusion for me entirelly.
I personally didn't even notice the white pins until I started inspecting it up close. I think they're pretty subtle and I love the transparent look, though it's not quite as good on the gloves as it is on the legs.

Clear pins are notoriously brittle anyway. White pins are the best option. But pins at all, cuts in articulation, pegs and sockets, all do the same to break the illusion. I just have to suspend disbelief because that's the nature of action figures. It's not always pretty, but that's the best way to represent invisibility powers. For Iceman, on the other hand, it's not necessary to show him as translucent. There should be more opaque versions of Iceman offered as action figures.
Like I said, it's just me. Joints and their mechanics don't bother me at all on standard figures but screw up the concept of translucent ones entirely. I'm envious of anyone who can have more fun with "invisible" variants.
@chen-yuzhu Not Captain Marvel. I'm not sure we'd make a comic Carol Danvers Captain Marvel any time soon. And Annihilus is not a Disney Store exclusive. We do not reveal Disney figures OR offer them for pre-order before they are available. Nothing currently planned for Disney as far as I know.
Post-op update. I was able to transplant arms grafted from MOTUR Teela. They look pretty good size wise. I'm also happy that paint matching went much better than expected.

I mean... the good news then is that you can always just have your truly invisible figure as part of your display - you just point to the empty spot and say there she is...
Oh goodness, this shot with all the other Avengers has me so pumped. Can't wait for this figure!
That is an excellent bunch of accessories! Hope he can post a pic of Cap with Human Torch with the Golden Age head.
