@msword  Thanks for the additional info Zach. With the additional photos, the head does look better. If the paldrons could be a little smaller, that would be perfect. At 7.75 in, Crimson Dynamo will fit into ML just fine.

@gpmartin414 Those were just four of a larger line that was slated for Walgreens. If we offer them, it will likely be a larger assortment.

@chen-yuzhu I don't think we've shot him next to a ruler yet, but I believe the figure itself is around 7 inches. Accessories are not final, but the Annihilus origin mini-figure and two different control rods (glowing and non-glowing) are a definite. Working out some other options.

My goodness Annihilus' head is the size of his abs + crotch. Likely will still get him but that's disappointing to know it won't be sized down.

It's an alien bug creatue from the Negative Zone, not a human being with perfect proportions, for crying out loud, let it have a huge noggin.

Thanks for the reply.I wish it was eight inches. Anyway, this Annihilus is pretty cool. I love the paint job and the detail on it, and hope that the final product will be close to what this sample is.I am very much looking forward to getting it next year.

🤣 That's kind of my thinking too. It's much easier to "forgive" a perceived misproportion when it's a bug alien in armor.

True, but since this character has lots of reference material without such a disparity in head size, it just seems off.

Also, since most of the rest of his anatomy is exaggerated powerful humanoid, the large head just makes him look less imposing than your average supervillain.

Maybe since they are trying to work out all the accessories, they could include a smaller head or get the one from the pre-form to be swapable with the main?

If that's not possible, as long as the regular head is removable I'm sure customizers can fill the gap.

The Annihilus head issue is the same as with the recent Apocalypse, which is a magnificent figure, aside from the oversized head. Luckily, we had several Legends heads to replace it with that make that figure pretty much perfect.

Even if Marvel Select Crimson Dynamo doesn’t scale with Legends based on the height of the figure and the specific armor depicted, you can still get it and display in a Hall of Dynamos. Call it the Ultra-Dynamo in your mind. There’s precedent.

Not that I'm not excited about the classic Dynamo Select s releasing here (and I definitely will be fudging it into my primarily Legends display), but I would also love to see that Valentin Shatalov Crimson Dynamo armor made by Hasbro or Diamond Select.

Is Annihilus missing thigh swivels? That's really the only articulation miss to match a standard ML

No thigh swivels on it, Cap, or Archangel. Perhaps msword could let us know if there's some inner thigh swivel mechanism, or if it's on a ball so it'll have some internal rotation from that.

@marvellegendsman Same here! Valentin’s armor is the Crimson Dynamo that I first knew when I watched Iron Man’s 90s animated series and collected the Toy Biz 5” figures! Love all the Dynamo suits, but that one is special to me.

That early Hasbro version of the Crimson Dynamo suit is pretty well done for a figure of that era.

Marvel Select figure is Dimitri Bukharin as Crimson Dynamo, from what I remember. I had his 3.75 figure back in the day.

It's a guy in the big armor. 7 inch scale is fine for him. Most Legends (Vulcan body) are huge anyway. There's a paint on him. If Hasbro decide to make new Crimson Dynamo, it'll just be shiny plastic with zero paint. So...yeah, MS it is.

At this point, I really want Marvel Select Man Thing, Big Dormammu or Dragon Man

I’m not sure if I am entirely liking the wings but this is the first MS I’ll be getting excited for since BRB
