Fixed it.  I was wondering what was off about it.

That noggin is about 150% the size it should be.

I would prefer Smoother without the texture, but besides the head size, for the style they are going for it looks well done.

Yep, Perfect! msword would it be possible to reduce the size of the head? It's really too big on the prototype.

Other than that, it's looks wonderful, day 1 preorder.

Has anyone else noticed that all of the recent reveals (sans Dynamo) lack thigh cuts? I'm guessing they traded those off to bring back double jointed knees.

I don't want to sound like Todd McFarlane, but I rather have double jointed knees than ugly thigh cuts. In most cases, it doesn't look right. NECA uses a different technique, Medicom too. There's a way to do them well, but if not, it's better to direct the budget elsewhere (double jointed knees).

Depends on the character design, I guess.

Annihilus is really cool and it looks like it should be about 8 inches.

The painted version looks awesome - definitely lives up to the promise of the render. And the little insecty version is a lovely little extra.

I can easily justify the extra height in my ML display (and the slightly larger noggin) because alien. But I do wonder if, for those who’d prefer a smaller head, the one from the mini Annihilus would swap in? It’s missing the side horns and is slightly more organic in appearance, but it might be an interesting option.

Whatever the case, this is a nailed on day 1 purchase. My favourite MS in a good few years (might even edge out Titanium Man).

welp was waiting for Hasbro to get around to another version of this guy but looks like MS beat them to the punch.  Perhaps a big large but i think it'll work in an ML display, and probably a whole lot cheaper than whatever Annihilus deluxe or BAF figure that Hasbro had in the works.

still trying to decide if i can fudge Crimson Dynamo into an ML display, seems dubious but might go for it anyhow

A picture of the four articulated female Marvel Selects I have.  I had high hopes for Sue, but I think she's just okay in-hand.  I thought Lady Deadpool was heading in a really good direction, but then they completely changed course with the X-Women.  I'm not even talking size or scale.

I can't believe how tall Psylocke is. I have one I modified to try to fit with 6" (it still doesn't), but the modification may actually get her to scale better with 7". I still think Rogue is the best female they've done. Lady Deadpool is a little short, but the detail is unmatched and accessories plentiful. I like Sue for her display options, and the fact that she completes the team. That's pretty important to me.

Can"t wait for a full reveal of Annihilus tomorrow. He is a mu

st buy for me. Is it just me or is the star on

Cap's chest too big? I hate when they make the "S" on Superman's chest too big as well.

We were going for a 1980s Mike Zeck/Ron Lim Cap, they drew the star nice and big. Same reason we didn't sculpt every scale of his armor. You rarely see the scales in that era of artwork. Basically, we wanted to make a Cap no one had made before, and some people are saying they want it to look like every other Cap figure. We have Avenging Cap, Bucky Cap, and the Cassaday Cap if people don't like this one.

Also, glad to see the Minimates line is at least continuing somewhat. Still hoping to see the X-Men: The Animated Series mini mates teased a few years ago actually get released.

They came up in the Thursday panel. The president said they were getting closer to being offered.

Yeah, I'd rather have double jointed knees than thigh cuts, don't get me wrong.

Annihilus is a must buy. As others have said the head is a bit big as well as the paldrons but those are just nitpicks. Now the LOOOOONG wait for him and Crimson Dynamo.

Shart got an exclusive, up-close look at Annihilus. There are pictures from new angles and with the alternate cosmic control rod.

Very much looking forward to Annihulus, love it when Select picks big/alien/monster characters like this where the 7" scale isn't an issue to match with Legends.
