@archangelx huh, I didn’t equate the Crystar figure as having anything to do with Iceman, in terms of reuse or aesthetic.
I’m probably in the minority but I’d prefer an opaque deco as I’ve never seen him in the comics as transparent (more frosty?); as for that 3 pack I didn’t like it at all just mentioned it since there was a recent Iceman and may not be a priority.
That all said, the headsculpt on the new Marvel Select Iceman was stellar and puts the Hasbro releases all to shame.
I'm hoping that some of those characters like Deathbird, Wolfsbane and Angel get released in a regular non-retro wave. I also probably don't need quite as heavy a dose of Psylocke, though I definitely want the Outback era Betsy.
One thing I wouldn't mind on the retro cards is the original X-Factor. They gave us the Cyclops... but give us Jean, Warren and Hank in their X-Factor jump suits. Angel would be re-usable for various other costumes, and Beast could be repainted into a silver age version easily enough. Also I'd like some classic X-Men villains like Mastermind, Unus, Mesmero, Vanisher and Erik the Red.
But I absolutely hope that the retro X-Men can keep coming.
Not taking it in account the recent rumors, here are some wishlists:
Disassembled Psylocke
Outback Psylocke
Angel (blue or red costume)
Iceman 90's (clear)
Destiny
Phoenix (Rachel Excalibur)

Yes, yes and more yes. Original X-Factor, retro card or regular wave, would be amazing!
Absolutely in for those villains, too. Dying for an Erik the Red. The Toy Biz one was one of my favorite figures when I was a kid.
I don’t particularly like the look of that Crystar figure. It’s too translucent, showing so much of the inner mechanics of the action figure, that it gets distracting. They’d need to frost it (no pun intended) to make it look more foggy and less transparent for me to be satisfied with it.
It’s pretty disappointing they can’t figure out how to do a good Iceman and Human Torch. Translucency has never felt like a step forward.

FACTS. I am still waiting for a good Iceman. Hasbro needs to just invest in one unique body for him and they can reuse it to their hearts content. I hate how Crystar has an all new sculpt but Iceman keeps getting the shaft.
The clear Iceman works if they then go ahead and spend the $ to frost it properly with a good spray and thereby eliminating 85% of the clear.
