Just got Banshee and Rom delivered from Amazon today. On Easter Sunday no less! And they weren't scheduled to arrive until Tuesday, so I'm quite shocked. Crazy!!

Both figures are very cool. Super happy to finally get Banshee to complete the GS X-Men #1 team. And Rom brings back those warm and fuzzy feelings from childhood.

Now if only they'd do an updated classic Cockrum/Byrne Cyclops I'd be ecstatic.

Yah, got ROM, SpaceKnight of Galador yday and am geeking.  I'd love to see some of those other old SpaceKnights get figures; just a few.  Any garage 3DPrinters doing 2handed Translator modules for him like ye olde Parker Bros figure had?

Got Banshee today.  Looks decent, nothing groundbreaking obviously.  Wish we could have gotten a third newer head or some extra hands in lieu of the plastic comic.  Unless they come out with a BAF table for it to sit on in the background, I don't see myself ever using it.  I might get Ultimate Iron Man if he hits sale because of how everyone says his articulation is.  If not, oh well, it's not a need.  I'll source a pipe for this Banshee and then find a civilian body for my CastingCave head and then I'll only need AOA and GenX Banshee's to consider him no longer a character I need any more of.

On to the next thing.  Looking forward to seeing Psylocke soon.

Was checking on my Banshee pre-order at EE and noticed they had changed the price from the $24.99 when I placed the order, to $26.99. So, I promptly canceled it. I then ordered it from Amazon for $25.99 but at least I didn't have to pay for shipping. Bonus, it'll be here Friday while EE still didn't have any in stock, yet.

@dathing

Yeah the same $2 tariff tax is on my EE SW Black preorders as well.

Both of Arcade's heads have always reminded me of Banshee.

Has Hasbro released any heads that could be Gen X Banshee, close to this? I can't think of any - but that giant chin is right up Harding's alley. 🙄

I'd take a look at the various Matt Murdock and Hawkeye headsculpts (if there are unglassed / unmasked Hawkeyes), along with repainting Vulcan's hair.

The Gen X Banshee is different enough where I think they'll likely make one rather than expecting us to coast on the Blue/Yellow version.

I've resolved to only collect the red-suit Gen X characters, aside from Jono, Banshee, Emma and Penance.  I'm out once the basic team is done, barring a possible Emplate or woodified Black Tom.

Personally I think a "Love Triangle" style boxset with Banshee (in jacket), Penance (the clawed figure) and Emma (in her headmistress outfit) would probably knock out a decent chunk of what most would want.

Loving Ultimate Iron Man! Really nice comic accurate esculent and excellent articulation. He looks powerful and moves really well.

I re-read the Ultimate Armor Wars mini-series. Iron Man was so powerful in that series. His repulsors and rockets just annihilated opponents.

Hasbro could mostly repaint this figure into Ultimate Dreadknight! Just needs a different torso. And Ultimate Ghost had a very similar suit as well.

Dreadknight:
