I ordered Banshee, Daken, and Adam Warlock. I'm so happy we are finally getting this version of Banshee. All feels right in the world now.
ROM and Banshee for me. I'll play the long game on the rest.
Honest to goodness Marvel did a lot of work to integrate ROM into their super-hero Universe - more than with a lot of their licensed properties.
I'm hoping with the recent deal to allow publication of the Omnibus volumes and allow this figure in the Legends line that it may pave the road for ROM to return to actual Marvel Comics in the future. I know there is a deal with IDW that has to expire first, but I don't think it would be too difficult to reintroduce the Galadorian to the comics. Have some Dire Wraiths pop up from who knows where and have ROM follow them. Given the history of the wraiths with the X-Men there could be a story there so he has an extended guest stint in one or more X-Books for a few months as a soft launch before branching out and getting his own title. I'd buy it.
The Living Fire of Galador burns brightly within you, noble PantherCult.
😉
Just ROM and Banshee for me as well.

That would be tough considering Brian Hickman wiped out Galador and all the Spaceknights Crisis on Infinite Earths-style.
The alien race know as The Engineers came and destroyed everything. Their exact quote was, “Let it be as if it never was.” and a white wall of energy (anti-matter?) did just that.
@thor-el I mean its not like comics have never retconned a retcon before lol

I mean... Marvel operates in a Multiverse. Even if Galador was wiped out in one that doesnt preclude its existence in another and those things can cross unexpectedly. Happens all the time.
Over on X/Twitter, Dan Yun asked what characters and corresponding comic covers you would like to see in the future. As usual, I added a bunch. Go add more!!!!!
I could have easily added a lot more, but I had to stop somewhere.

What about the Dire Wraiths? Both genders?
And now we've got Rom on the way, what about a female Dire Wraith figure?

Right on both, and I knew these were options when I typed it. I just figured I'd point out what Marvel did with them in case folks didn't know.

When Marvel had the GI Joe license they snuck Duke into a Spider-Man comic. After that they just said, "Eh forget it".
Hoping Rom sells well, so hopefully we can get some of Rom's supporting cast, like Dire Wraiths and Spaceknights.
And maybe if there's enough interest, a return to comics.
This whole wave is an easy pass for me, the Banshee still coming with the same shit wings is so disappointing, absolutely couldn't care less about the comic gimmick. I hope these peg warm and I might pick up one or two for cannibalising for spare parts but that's it.
