I would like the same thing, as well as double jointed elbows, and a repaint in the same shade of green skin and purple pants as the SDCC exclusive vintage Hulk.
I’m afraid they won’t have improved the neck range on this Hulk if they’re reusing so many parts. Previous versions can’t look up nearly as much as I want when he’s hunched.
@wummyhulk for me personally to get it, it would have to be the Merged Hulk, and have heads evocative of Gary Frank and/or Dale Keown artwork. Also, bunny slippers.
@magnusprimal That’s what I want as well. I hope they make that soon, I’ve been waiting for Hasbro to revisit that look since ML returned in 2012.
I got my maximum series Spider-Man today.
@wummyhulk Honestly I'd want Hasbro to stress the limits and offer a 2-pack featuring a more dedicated Smart Hulk but this time with a complete set of soft goods clothing, vs Maestro and then each character gets their own pool of accessories that can either be shared between them along with specific accessories that are meant for each individual character
I would love a new Smart Hulk figure... but soft goods clothing would absolutely be a way to guarantee I did not buy that figure. Leave the soft goods to Mezco and whoever... the soft goods in legends so far always SUCK and go immediately in the trash for me. I really hope they never choose to go in this direction.
@panthercult very well plastic it is. I only opted for suggesting soft goods because he's had a myriad of different looks as that incarnation but if you'd rather stick to one centric look then that's fine. My only request is that under a similar complaint: don't lock us into the bunny slipper look. give us some optional feet. Slippers, the work boots, bare feet...
oh and in other news my Maximum Spider-Man arrived today and boy is he fun. the articulation is smooth, the body design is nice and its a completely new mold from top to bottom. and I know peope have been complaining about the accessories but I feel like unlike other companies that do super articulated spidey figures...these accessories do a really good job of reflecting spidey's personality. Especially for a late 80's/early 90's era spidey. I wish it came with a few more pieces like a flock of pigeons, maybe a phone booth, a webline attached to a folded up copy of the Daily Bugle, his camera, a thermos....but that probably would have pushed the price of this piece to nearly $100. Still this was well worth the price for what we got. It's a great figure and its loads of fun to mess around with.

Personally, I want bunny slippers as an accessory. Not as the only option. But I want Merged Hulk as a single figure. I don’t want him in a 2-pack. He’ll cost at least $60 as it is.
They'll have to redo the savage green Hulk somewhere down the line after a smart Hulk, and this time with better head sculpts, better butterfly shoulders, double jointed elbows, and pinless legs, not to mention a repaint to match the SDCC exclusive vintage Hulk.
I may be in the minority but I am looking forward to the Hulk. I don't own a lot of Legends so the Maxseries is enticing to me. Ultimate Legends if you will, as I do not, have not purchased a back catalogue of figures the price sits comfortably. Fingers crossed for a Max series Thing to pair him with.
Got my 2 Spider-Men. No paint or quality issues, that you'll see magnified on the socials. Poses like a dream and it's the ideal Peter I've waited for. A beyond worthy successor to Spider-Man Classics Series 12 Spidey.
Maximum Spiderman is a good figure, but it’s not “worth the price”. This time last year, a basic ML was $22-26. Some of those even included build a figure pieces. This new Spiderman is not worth two and a half other figures just because it includes a web shield. Hell- there isn’t even a stand included.
One could make the argument that maybe Hulk is. MAYBE.
In other news, there should probably be at least two Smart Hulks. One with alt slippers instead of hands. One with boots and a big ole gun. They should have the same skin tone so parts can be used interchangeably.

It’s only “magnified” if it didn’t happen to your copy.
