I had only pre-ordered Luke, Clea, and Iron Man from this wave but I am not in a position to be ready for more figures this soon, especially with the HasLab in progress. So I cancelled Clea and Iron Man. Just Luke I can handle right now.
Be careful, Clea and Blade are likely going to be the ones that become hard to obtain after release. Well, at least in my estimation. Not to evoke any feelings of FOMO, but just a caution you likely thought of in the doing…
I'm curious why you think Clea will be hard to find. I'm always trying to strategize which characters I should wait for a sale or price drop to buy. But I feel I never really know what criteria to use (aside from case pack assortments). Clea is the sort of character that might be cool to have, but will not make or break my collection.
She and Blade are the only ones who have sometimes shown as sold out on HP and Amazon.
MCU presence - even if minor so far - also plays a roll. Clea had a brief cameo at the end of Multiverse of Madness and Blade had the voice only cameo at the end of Eternals.
I'd say Clea not having a single figure in 25 years of ML history puts her up there a little bit. She's like the #3 character in the Dr Strange universe after Stephen Strange & Dormammu even though she is a C list character. Did she even have a MU figure? Ditko creation, relevant in most Dr Strange stories, MCU anticipation as others have said. She's got things going for her.

Nothing scientific, I’m not running double-blind peer-reviewed research projects over here. I believe this because both characters have a bit of a cultish fanbase which draws the attention of resellers looking to turn profit. Even before the celebrity powered by Wesley Snipes, Blade was a bit of an underground comic deep cut that ‘in the know’ fans celebrated. Add to that that the fact that this version tracks closer to Bart Sears’ look for the character - which brought the comic closer to Wesley’s film rendition - I see both comic and film fans buying the fig. The scenario for Clea is similar, if not quite as intense since she hasn’t been marketed with her own title or movies (yet). Dr. Strange diehards, like myself, are likely going to be all over this and she will be in the next Strange movie as we saw with the post-credits scene from MoM (Charlize Theron). Of course, I could be wrong about all of this as I’m often wrong about many things. That said I did check Amazon before answering and both figs are the only two from the wave that are unavailable for carts and the “options to buy” have already been inflated and start at $42+.

I honestly have never heard of her until the figure was released.
I'm going to say Clea could be a speculative/blind purchase for the general audience just due to the MCU introduction alone. I have many collector friends who purchase comic versions of every MCU character, despite not knowing anything about the characters.
I would guess that Clea would be more in demand because she ties in with the BAF. I would expect anyone who wants Mindless Ones would also want her, so it would be less likely that anyone would sell her loose. Unless some one is army building Mindless Ones, perhaps.
if this wave were in retail stores, i suspect Clea would pegwarm. Demand for her is going to be fairly front-loaded... as pointed out, she's never had a figure in the line before so for long-time collectors who are at least mildly into Doc Strange, she will be a priority.
I would argue Baron Mordo is up there as far as Doc Strange characters go, feels like he's Strange's main "human" rogue. but really thats neither here nor there
Strange doesn't have many notable characters. It's generally just been him, Clea, Wong, The Ancient One, Dormammu and Mordo. I've never read Doctor Strange comics and I atleast know that much, and about seeing her pop up here and there in Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Marvel Future Fight.
She's a good design and addition to the rather lacking Strange related shelf, and people will just buy a slick looking figure. I doubt that she'll be unpopular or be the pegwarmer, but if she is, all the better for me, that headsculpt is slick and would be great for fodder!
The whole wave shipped for me from BBTS yesterday (Tuesday) except for Daredevil who I chose to skip and ordered an extra Fist Ninja instead. I'm excited to have them in hand!
Clea is easily the figure that I'm most looking forward to, followed by Lady Bullseye. Blade is probably the figure that I chose to still order that I'm least excited about.
I've got Luke and Clea sitting in my POL. I still want that Iron Man for my Armory as well, but he can wait for a bit. I'd be fine finding a loose one cheaper as well since I've no interest in the BaF part.
Luke Cage doesn't even have ab-crunch? Watched a review to still see if he's worth it. His head sculpt didn't sit right with me when he was revealed, and it looks even worse in close up. Besides being expressionless, it just doesn't feel right. Almost too soft or animated looking. Those armpit gaps in his shirt are awful too. Overall, I feel like this figure is kind of a dud. Maybe it's acceptable if it's marked down (holiday sales are coming up), but not at full price. I was going to hold off on the inevitable blue pants version, but I may not even get that version.
Really hoping the Mindless One gets a re-release somewhere, because this wave isn't too appealing to me.
Maybe we'll get lucky and Benty will make a better head sculpt. 😉
I got Luke in today and I'm pretty happy with him. The waist ball works fairly well and gets some good tilt in it. The arm holes are definitely too big - it's not a dealbreaker, but definitely a flaw that shouldn't have been overlooked. I actually like his headsculpt. I would have preferred an extra one with some more personality, but in person it reads more "stern" than "bored" to me, which works well for Luke. I've got the TB figure still in my display and this is an easy upgrade to make.
