I finally got Blade, which was the only one from this wave I was interested in.  I put a Blue Marvel head on him and it doesn't look bad.  I may stick Bonebreaker's glasses on him just to see how it looks for a stoic head.  His gripping hands are garbage though.  I don't remember previous iterations of ML having such a huge problem gripping their accessories.  My 97 Gambit can barely hold his staff at all.  This Blade would have been much better with a stake-belt or bandolier as he has no way of storing any of his accessories beyond his "sword" which looks more like a long machete given the flattened off tip.  I managed to get more range out of his arms in a downward position by using a craft exacto blade to elongate the arm hole openings on his coat.  I had to go about a half inch to and inch lower to accomodate for the rumpled sleeve on his arm sculpt.  But at least he can put his arms down now.  Overall cool character but for the price I shouldn't have to be continually modding these character to "make them better" but increasingly I'm thinking Hasbro just cares about making it to the next financial quarter rather than actually wow-ing the fans or making them feel like they're valued.

I think this Blade is probably a trial run for the inevitable Wesley Snipes Blade we'll get at some point.  Hopefully with greater mobility.

I saw Blade and modern Daredevil at a Gamestop, and while I had no use for them, is was very nice to see the figures in packaging once again for the first time in a long time.  It felt great.

I got too excited and ordered 2 cases when they went up and forgot to cancel once they started hitting - interesting to note that the case pack  switched from what was solicited so that there's now 2 Blades per case instead of 2 Daredevils

Blade has me hoping there's a pinless Winter Soldier on the horizon - his legs are a huge improvement over the giant ones that they have been using for Killmonger/Netflix Punisher and have the pads over the knees like Winter Soldier usually wears.

The Blade legs are reused from Old Man Hawkeye

@miraclemen Oh that's right, forgot he didn't just use those other ones too.

Blade is a mixed bag. He looks good, but he has so many glaring issues. The head is nice but he should've come with an alternate to the screaming one. The sword isn't really great. But the glaives are pretty cool. And I like the use of the Hawkeye pants here. Much better then the last Blades pants. When did he become a southpaw though? Why is his sword over the wrong shoulder? I don't remember that. And he has the wrong wrist hinges. And the paint is coming off his arms and sunglasses already. It's like a half assed version of Snipes. I'd rather they just go all out and give Snipes a dedicated figure sculpt. While I don't like Snipes as a person, those movies were awesome. And I definitely need an update to the old figure. Mine broke. The ball hip peg deteriorated on the inside and snapped off. And the coat, while cool at the time, is flaking. I gave the cool sword to the one we got a few years ago. I will probably do some work to this new one, but I also really only consider it a sidegrade. Better legs, better skin tone, better look. And the Glaives and Stakes are nice to have. Worse hands and arms, worse sword (cause i have the daywalker sword), feels cheap. And the paint is aweful.

So my mods are probably gonna be, moving the sword sheath from the wrong side to the right side, and figuring out the best way to make it look proper on that side. Painting him fingerless gloves. May try to give him a gun holster but the coat could restrict that. Mod his sword, or just find another one that looks better and fits that sheath. And maybe see about getting him some new jacket arms from the Netflix Punisher. Or even Gambit and painting them black. Whatever may be the cheaper option.

He's fine. But he's not amazing.

So currently, it seems the rarities in this wave are Clea and Lady Bullseye. They’re the ones only available by third party mark up on Amazon. The rest were acquirable on various sales and deals. I’m closing in on a third Mindless One, but still need both ladies. The rest I got on sale.

With huge thanks to @schizm I was able to get Clea, completing the only three figures from this wave I wanted (Clea, Power Man, and Iron Man). And fortunately the only BaF part I got stuck with is the leg that came with Luke. So wins all around. Huzzah!

Man this wave is dynamite!

The Mindless BaF has to come out again in a Hasbro deluxe pack with a Dormammu repack or variation or something. This BaF is one of the best in 2023. I mean I’m struggling to remember the 2023 BaFs: Cassie, Hydra Stomper 2, Amadeus, uhm? What else am I forgetting? No Spidey wave BaF. No X-Man wave BaF. Oh yeah the incorrect reuse body for Ch’od with wrong finger count and colors off, and no gun. I did like the Serpent Society Puff Adder. None of those beat this Mindless One. Was Bonebreaker this year? I think he was 2022. So Mindless One still the best!

Clea is beautiful. Paint is crisp. Luke Cage is alright. The skin showing from the torso under his arm pits is bummer. Blade is alright. He struggles to lower his arm at arm pits. Lady Bullseye is a treat. It’s a trick or two to figure out how to pose her with the fans. They are fun to work with. I wish Legends team considered weapon storage options on these ninja types.

The mini team of Matt, Fist ninja, and Lady Bullseye is a gem. Matt is great especially with the somewhat swappabilty of the Fist Ninja’s fist to have punchy punchy. The color is off but not enough to bother me. Him missing an hooded option is unfortunate. I love my skeleton head Fist ninja so I’m not going to tear apart that head to try on Matt. Elektra from the Spider-Man wave makes this sweet little trio or quartet or so on and so forth depending on the army building of Fist ninja. I have two so far. I’d like two more.

Two more is how many more Mindless Ones I’d like. So please do a reoffering in whatever manner Hasbro.

I didn’t forget the IM I just ignored it. It got me a leg I think. It goes in the Iron man house party bin.

Thwipp!

@prophet The skull is not attached to the hood. They are loose, individual pieces, and the skull pops right out. It's a bit tricky to get onto Matt, but a little heat can help. You want to get the lower neck opening around his downed scarf. It holds, but say goodbye to any head movement left, right, up, or down.

Is the Fist Ninja's torso suppose to turn 360? Mine sheered off but otherwise was able to tilt left, right, forward and back. But he couldn't turn

@miraclemen I have that same question - it seems like it should rotate, but every time I try it feels like something is going to tear. Has anyone taken him or the older Hand figures apart to see what's going on in there?

Thanks for the hint about the Blue Marvel head. It fits great. Did not want to crave up Bonebreakers glasses so used these that I got from a store in China. For a while I had these on the Elsa Bloodstone figure from the boxset. They don't fit tightly on the Blue Marvel head but look good. Best glasses accessory I've gotten.

LW005 1/12 Scale Soldier Accessories Model for 6" Figure Black Hawk Down | eBay

Also if you have the previous Blade figure from the Man Thing wave it has gripping fingerless gloves that hold the new Blades accessories. I had to heat them to remove them from the older figure and may have trimmed the peg a bit too.

One more Blade hint - on figures that cannot bring down their arms to a more relaxed position I heat up the arms and use a large rubber band that they use in the grocery store to bundle broccoli bunches together to hold the arms in position and use cold water to "freeze" them in place. It doesn't work all the way on this figure but looks better.

Now you have a reason to buy fresh broccoli. Keep those bands! Good Luck.

No one?

I got my replacement in and I am having the same issue, his torso just rubber bands and I now know better than to turn him 360 because I feel the peg will tear again.

I think the peg they used was just not ABS, but the soft PVC as the entire wave is super gummy.
