DD is in at HLJ. I was anticipating his arrival and shipped him and Cap in under 5 minutes.
Official tweet announcing Daredevil's release on October 8.
There's something about this Daredevil figure that reminds me of his ill fated video game that was canceled back in 2003. I think I'm sticking with my VHS shaded Daredevil anyway but its still nice looking
I'm not sure he'll top the Legends figure, but he looks great. This is one of the rare instances where I'll be adding a second version of the character to my collection. One for the Marvel shelf and another for my desk.
I do wish there was a Matt Murdock head. Damn, I feel like HLJ is taking their sweet time shipping this package.

First day I'll try the Scott Summers heads on him since I have both of the Mafex versions. I bet one fits, and his optic blast shades double as blind glasses quite well.
@enigmaticclarity one of Scott's heads does seem like a good stand in for Matt. I started browsing through mafex's promo photos of their various Marvel & DC comic figures during some down time at work. Matt's lack of unmasked head seems to be the biggest head scratcher. Most figures seem to have one when appropriate.
I'll take that third screaming head over an unmasked head, although I'd trade the gritted-teeth head for an unmasked. The only Mafex screaming head I recall before this one came with X-Force Wolverine. Matt is a good one to give it to since he's never at a huge superhuman advantage over his foes like Spidey or Cap are. I bought the animated Hydro-Man/Daredevil Legends 2-pack almost entirely to get that screaming Daredevil head, and it really is great.
If he sells as well as it looks like he currently has we'll probably get an alternate costume version that comes with an unmasked head. Armored Daredevil is probably the most likely to be next up if we do get another version.
@enigmaticclarity Man I hope you're right. The Fall From Grace costume bounces back and forth from being my number 1 or 2 Daredevil costume on any given day. And Mafex is the only company I can think of that is perfectly suited for replicating Scott McDaniel's art.

My guess is original Yellow suit DD will be done first as its a simple repaint before the Armored costume

Ami ami just charged me for Daredevil 🙂
I got Cap in today. He's a fantastic figure. He's well-articulated and oozes classic goodness.
My only two issues are the size (I wish he were a quarter inch taller) and the shield. I haven't seen or heard anyone else complaining about it, but I had a bitch of a time getting it on his wrist. Somehow Toy Biz's elastic straps and plastic clip remain the best solution.
He displaced the Marvel Legends 20th Anniversary figure from my collection, which I didn't think would happen for at least another five years. After more than a year of searching for a shield to replace that figure's incomplete one, MAFEX Cap came with two.
Unparalleled Universe has a review of Comicbook version of Cap up on YouTube, but I guess I don't have enough juice to link to it.
