I would be somewhat relieved if Daredevil HAS been pushed back.

I had him pre-ordered, but I also want to get Mondo's Real Ghostbusters figures and since I don't know when in Fall they're going up, I cancelled him.

With this news, I put him back on pre-order. At least with an October release, that gives me a little more time.

Very excited to see more pics of these two! I've got three other Marvel Mafex figures waiting for these to show up before I ship.

KD said those are store display samples, Cap is 9/25 and DD is 10/1.  The store staff didn't know much about DD and was asking if he was a popular character. KD says he thought Cap is the best "look and execution" for a Marvel comic Mafex.  He thought DD is closer to Nightwing in size rather Spider-Man.

He sounds impressed with Cap. I felt a little let down from the original promo pics, so I hope I agree or at least come close.

I only just placed my pre-order for Cap yesterday. He looks too good; I'd be kicking myself if I missed him.

I hate that head sculpt on Cap. I'd probably have ordered it otherwise.

I usually don't pre-order unless I think it's a figure that will sell out before or shortly after release.  I didn't think demand would be too high for this Cap, but then I noticed about a month ago most Japanese retailers had already sold out of their pre-orders, so I ordered him then where I could.

I still mostly expect him to be easily available for a month or two after release, we'll see.

He looks good. I can't decide if he's enough of an upgrade over the ML 3-pack to justify the ~$80, but he looks great in his own right.

I agree that he doesn't look like a huge upgrade over the excellent ML version, but I'm glad I got an order in. DD is one of my favorite characters and this looks like another great figure. Matt's one of very few characters I don't mind having a duplicate of.

Wow, shading on him looks excellent. Not sure why, but this brings me back to picking up the original SMC Daredevil as a kid. Can't wait to get him in hand.

Mafex timelines crack me up. I was talking about this figure in this very thread over a year ago (new boards have already been around for a year?!).
