MCUCollector has some in person pics. That Model 09 is way more yellow than the promo pics looked. Gonna pass on him and hope that we get a Neo Classic with metallic red and gold.
And speaking of gold, that color on Silver Age IM is uh, interesting. Pretty flat considering it’s a repaint with no other paint detail.
Thanks for sharing that! I think the classic Iron Man armors should be made in both red & yellow and in red & gold. The art was yellow, so that color really makes the figures look classic like they jumped off the page. But gold looks awesome and is definitely how the modern armors look. So the correct answer is to do both!
Hypnotia would've been nice to see, and finally get. 😀
I've said it multiple times and will say it again. I'd go for 3 more She-Hulks. This one goes on the Avengers shelf obviously. Would take a FF uni one for the FF shelf, a white shredded onesie "savage" FA one for the Hulk/Defenders shelf & a pencil skirt lawyer one for the street hero / DD shelf.
Count Nefaria and Shulky for me, idgaf about Whiplash or those other armors

Definitely would be cool to get those original characters from the show like Hypnotia and Dark Aegis!
So at the panel today, when Gold Iron Man was shown, they said that now we would finally be able to recreate this cover:
Well, let's see. Gold Iron Man? On the way. Classic Wasp? On the way. Classic Ant-Man? Check. Classic Thor? Check. Loki? Check.
But that Hulk. Has that been announced or have they already made it and I just forgot? Purple trunks and three toes (Sometimes four, it depended on how big a hurry the King was when he drew him). Anyone remember?
Not an Iron Man aficionado, but goddamn that's a stellar looking wave! I'm down for She-Hulk, Iron Man 20 and Whiplash.
Akatsuki and Stark Resilient must be floating!
Is that IM in the middle Extremis?
It is the Pentagon Armor (the art was in flux a lot in that era of the comics—note that some people breakdown the different art styles from that era into actual different armors rather than different artist interpretations of the same armor). It’s one of the first armor plated Iron Man armor designs, originating in the early 2000s. It is a precursor to the Extremis Armor which took a similar aesthetic and then streamlined it.Is that IM in the middle Extremis?
It can be confusing because the Pentagon Armor is on the covers for a lot of the comic issues for the Extremis arc. If my memory is accurate, the Extremis Armor does not show up until the end of issue 5 or so of that arc. So sometimes people Google “Extremis” and see cover art that is actually depicting the Pentagon Armor.

Got it. So it's the Hasbro version of this one?

These all look great for the most part. My only issue this at the Neo Classic armor looks straight-up yellow. This was my number one Iron Man want (and even on my top 10 list), and I'm one of those people that prefer my Iron Men painted gold. Maybe he'll get a re-release down the line with the skinny boots and gold paint.
@yojoebro82 I would say that yes it is the same armor. Again, some opinions might differ because my memory is that the artwork was so different from issue to issue in those days. Sometimes the armor had those back fins and sometimes it didn’t.
How about a two-pack of a gold Neo-Classic Iron Man with normal sized boots paired with a deluxe Firepower armor? The Neo-Classic armor debuted at the end of the Armor Wars to fight Firepower. I think that would be an awesome set. I’d love a figure of Firepower!
