Loving Nefaria and Whiplash! Those two are must haves. It's likely that I'll buy the whole wave but have to have those 2.

Heck yeah!  That She-Hulk and Blacklash are exactly what I wanted them to be.

It's been a while since I could legitimately check off some characters from my wants list.

I think on the panel they said that pre-orders for the Iron Man retro wave go up on April 2nd.  Movie Deadpool and Logan go up on April 1st.

April Fool's Day.  April Pool's Day?  Appropriate. 

That is an absolutely fantastic wave. Love every single figure in there. The only problem is I’m going to have to start sacrificing some more cinematic armor designs in favor of the comic ones in my Armory. I only have a limited number of alcoves since they’re hard (and expensive) to find these days. 

That's the exact costume that I wanted for Blacklash. 🙂 & also someone from my top 10. :3

She-Hulk is the only want from this wave. Might get the gold Iron Man for the unmasked head, though I already have a few I like. I still don't have this Charles Bronson looking head.

I literally just had Pentagon Armor on my Top Ten List 😀 Awesome.  And we have Superior Iron Man and apparently Heroes Reborn on the way.  Crazy fun year for Iron Man!!  Hope Hulkbuster is 90s comic too!

They have got to give us Mandarin, Blizzard, and Crimson Dynamo at some point in this retro line.

I’m so happy it was the Retro reveals as I thought they would do. I wish one of the Iron Man armors was the aqua armor. I like the Mark 20. I really like Blacklash/Whiplash. I’m in for Nefaria and She-Hulk. I’ll get gold too. I’m just a bit greedy and I wanted on Retro card Crimson Dynamo and Madame Mask. I think they would look cool for the card art which I’m keeping. It’s a fun reveal. Maybe this won’t be a one and done for those carded Iron Man figs. Maybe Killer Shriek and Unicorn and Melter can come in a later line. Maybe more armors for the armory can get done.

and I know Hasbro will drive the fan base crazy as they do Fin Fang Foom as Haslab with lower price and no figs like they did Hank. Then 2025 Mandarin is released around time of realization of Foom as a supplement to the Haslab.

MCUCollector has some in person pics. That Model 09 is way more yellow than the promo pics looked. Gonna pass on him and hope that we get a Neo Classic with metallic red and gold. 

And speaking of gold, that color on Silver Age IM is uh, interesting. Pretty flat considering it’s a repaint with no other paint detail. 

Or it will be like FF retro, tank so hard it's still on clearance 2 years later and there's only one series.    I hope that's not how it works, but the FF retro line bummed me out so hard

This Iron Man retro wave looks fantastic!! 

Iron Man-Neo-Classic:  This is a must-have classic armor that really needed an upgrade like this. The photos are blurry, but it is looking great from what I can see. This armor has been on a top ten for a while!

Pentagon Armor Iron Man— One of Iron Man’s best looking suits, the Pentagon Armor is when Tony started having an armored-plated design and eventually led to the Extremis Armor and the MCU armors. Burry photos, but it looks great and like an all-new sculpt. Super exciting!

Count Nefaria! Another from my top ten. He’s a super heavyweight powerhouse. Wonderful character selection. The figure looks perfect from what I can see. 

Blacklash looks great! Another top ten choice for me. He’s a classic Iron Man foe and one of Justin Hammer’s army of villains. He will go great with Blizzard 2, Beetle, and Spymaster. 

Golden Iron Man Mark 2– Looks awesome. The Mark 1 was perfect, and it looks great here in gold with the hip guard armor. Absolutely must-have for the first appearance of the Avengers!

She-Hulk— She looks outstanding! This is the costume that I wanted. Weird for her to be in this wave rather than an Avengers wave. But she definitely a must-have. 

So the wave looks amazing. But there is plenty more that I want. Diamond Select Toys has thrown down the gauntlet challenging Hasbro to make some of Tony’s armored opponents—Titanium Man and Crimson Dynamo. Hasbro could have made the versions of those two that originally had Toy Biz retro card figures, and they would have been totally different versions from what DST made. On the original retro cards, Titanium Man was in the Titanium Man 2 armor and Crimson Dynamo was in the Mark 5 red and silver armor. It would be so cool to get updated Marvel Legends of those two. 

And Madame Masque would have been ideaL. She did not have an old 5” figure, but she was featured on the old animated series, and Count Nefaria is her father. She would have been great on the new Black Widow body.

So this would have been the perfect opportunity for some needed characters that did originally appear on those retro cards:

Mandarin

Titanium Man 2

Crimson Dynamo Mark 5

Blizzard 1

US Agent (Force Works)

Living Laser (original 5” figure was planned but cancelled)

Iron Man- Hydro Armor (plus several other specialty armors)

This wave is perfect. I can’t believe how good it is.

Ooh, Akat, you reminding me of Living Laser might make me put him in my top 10 now that Nefaria is coming. 

This is a sweet wave.  Definitely getting Blacklash, Count Nefaria, Gold skirt Iron Man and that awesome She-Hulk.  The only real bummer for me is the absence of any version of Mandarin.  Come on Hasbro!  Hopefully there is a wave 2.
