My wish list for Iron Man based figure:

1. Mandarin (90s animated)(fan channel exclusive retro carded)

2. Blizzard (90s animated)(standard retro carded)

3. Crimson Dynamo (Valentin Shatalov)(standard retro cared)

4. Titanium Man (classic Boris Bullski)(deluxe retro carded)

5. Ultimo (mega deluxe retro carded)

6. Fin Fang Foom (classic)(Haslab)

Great list - only ones I would add are Hypnotia, Century and possible the TAS Scarlet Witch

Could the other figure be Mandarin attacking with 10 different power effects coming out of his 10 rings?

One can only dream!

Another figure?  Gotta be Hulkbuster, right?

I think you are right! Makes a lot of sense. Hulkbuster Armor was one of my favorite figures in the 5” Toy Biz line, so this would be very cool.

I mean...this wave is missing a BAF. So they can give us Hulkbuster figure as "deluxe". Makes a lot of sense.

I still love that Toy Biz riders Hulkbuster figure though.

Heroes Reborn?

I'd love it if they made a comic accurate Stealth Armour but I don’t expect they will ever do that. Too easy to just make it the way they keep doing it, simple repaint.

So, when these first became available for preorder I searched "marvel legends" on Deep Discount multiple times to no avail. The thing is, I only looked at the first page of search results expecting them to display the most recent additions first, and when I finally looked through to the 3rd page over the weekend, there they were, listed as "currently unavailable".

Does anyone know if they already sold through their allotted preorders or if they just haven't become live yet?  -Asking for an idiot (i.e., me).

I've been checking regularly and I'm 90% sure they were never available. It looks to me like DD actually aren't doing preorders anymore - the last several waves/releases (including the Zabu wave, the SHIELD 3-pack, FF 2-pack) have had product pages go up, but were never actually made available for order.

@h-bird

Thank you for the clarification on that.  I'm guessing Angel was their last ML preorder?  Because that worked out perfectly for me.

I think so - I preordered Angel and the Wolverine sets from them and they came through no problem. I'm hoping the other stuff will just pop up as in-stock close to the release date, but we'll see!

I have loved Iron Man since I was little, I mean like 5 or 6, years old, But that coffee can feet armor (Romita Armor) is THE armor from Armor Wars II which was when I formally started collecting comic books. I have since gone back and collected previous issues including some pretty important issues from the 80's and maybe the late 70's, but that armor is the one. The previous version of it from the retro wave was OK and worked at the time but this update is welcome. I fully understand the gold armor but not that Toybiz redux armor. It looks great though and is a vast improvement over the Toybiz Series 8 version. I have never liked Whiplash/Blacklash and wish they chose a good character like Living Laser, human or Armor Wars II, or Animated Mandarin. I don't understand including She Hulk or Nafaria, but that is kind of the She Hulk I have been waiting for and Count Nafaria is a classic villain and looks well executed plus he is a line first timer. The only thing more exciting than this wave is the possibility of where this could go. That Animated Iron Man line had some real winners in it, and we have actually been getting a lot of those characters like Whirlwind and the Gray Gargoyle over the years so they could start knocking out the armor variants and overdue characters.

Amazon is now saying She-Hulk will ship 5/1!

Only one in the wave that's been pulled in...so far.

@andru My She-Hulk moved to June 19. The rest of the wave is still July 2.

Edit: so has the rest of the wave.

I preordered half the wave but I've been hesitant about adding three more Tonys to my collection, but I was doing some collection shuffling around and realized I have three characters who need their own separate storage: Spidey, Wolverine, and Iron Man and somehow that made me MORE okay with getting three more.

Here's the billion dollar question though: anyone know of a database of accessories for Legends? I did a good job of keeping parts with waves or with themes but I have so many repulsor blasts, spare hands, rocket boot blasts... I have no idea which parts go with which Iron Man anymore. Been thinking I need to spend a day and bag and tag all those parts but there's SO MANY.

And of course I have dozens of Tonys but have had that red and gold original version of his classic armor as the main display for ages now. I really gotta swap him out every week just to get a good rotation going. Maybe put one of the weirdo armors next to Stan for a change of pace until this wave arrives.

I did exactly that a year or so ago. All the accessories were stored in a few big boxes/bags, and I wanted to separate everything by original figure. I started with Legendsverse because I was also adding my collection to it at the time - I ended up having about 30 tabs open of different Iron Man figures while I figured out which pieces belonged to which. Good luck!
