Sad to hear about MD Bright. He had a standout run on Marvel's GI Joe too.
I only recently discovered M.D. Bright by re-reading all my old GI Joe comics. I think he may have been my favorite GI Joe artist from the Marvel run. Sad to hear the news.
Pre ordered She Hulk today from Gamestop. I will not miss that one! June 1st can't get here fast enough!
I got a pre-order in for She-Hulk. I thought there was a chance she'd sell out, but she hasn't yet.
Is the IM model 20 in this series the same armor as the ToyBiz series 8 "modern" IM?
@hagop I believe it is. Certainly looks like it has I had that Toybiz version.
Pre-ordered Whiplash, Count Nefaria, and Gold Iron Man on Amazon. Those are the only ones I really want for now, so I was glad I was able to pre-order them.
I tried to pre-order them on GameStop, because I wanted to pay with PayPal but it wouldn't let me. When I would click on that option it kept defaulting back to my credit card.
I don't want those on my credit card, so I switched over to Amazon. That way I can pick up a gift card and pay with that before they actually get charged to my card.
I pre ordered Whiplash, Nefaria, and She Hulk. I will probably get the Model 20 and Model 09 armors at some point, but I just didn't pre order them today because this Wave, like every other damn product Hasbro and every other major toy company has put on pre order for the last few months, has a July release date.
I just didn't want too many more things I had to pay for for certain that month.
I have waited so long for Whiplash though. I'm so happy we're getting him.
That is a great Iron Man top ten. But I would swap out MCU Whiplash and Century for classic versions of Crimson Dynamo and Titanium Man.
I asked Shootingthegalaxy on Instagram about Iron Man Model 20, and he confirmed that this armor does in fact have butterfly joints at the shoulders. Very cool!

That's great, thanks for checking on that Akat! It almost looks like he has some sort of upper torso twist as well based on some of the photos, but that could just be a mirage.
@hagop it's actually a straight re-do of one of the later 3.75" movie line figures.
It had a standard red and gold and a blue and silver version.
Trying to find a pic....
Speaking of blue and silver, I know it might not make everyone happy (and I'm sure we'd hear a lot of "lazy repaint" comments), but I'd take a repaint of the Silver Centurion in blue and silver as the Arctic Armor.
I wish ML would start using ball waists instead of cuts. The waist cut on IM mk20 isn't great. I prefer ribcage articulation to ab crunch, but I can understand them using ab crunch due to the design (front column of red armor). The waist cut just isn't ideal, and I've been really not digging it lately.

I've also really soured on the waist cut lately, especially after seeing how many lines have moved to the ball waist. ML feels really behind the 8ball here.
