I’m hoping the international numbers bump this up dramatically
remember there’s no risk in adding Giant Man to your order account. If this is shy of 9000 maybe (if you can) bump up your order quantity
Fortune favours the bold
With last years offering even if I didn’t want the figures each of those 6 inch legends would’ve filled in the gap to any of the 40 000 + Marvel Collectors
if you guys haven’t noticed that 15 year old Marvel Select Mephisto figure with horrible articulation sells for $200 on eBay. Goblin Queen would’ve reached $150 on eBay from XMen collectors. Even if I didn’t want the car I’d still would’ve made my money back on that HasLab. It’s not like these things sell for less than what you paid. The market is still relatively growing. The slow down is due to high interest rates, inflation, higher taxes, lower disposable income. Things like that occur in cycles.
10 years from now you’ll be glad you have a Giant Man in your collection.
I’ve owned almost every Marvel figure and yeah there aren’t many opportunities for substitutes. This character is a go big or go home kinda deal.

My fear at this point isn't funding or not funding.
My fear is this thing ticks over 10,001 at the last minute, my credit card gets charged $212, 31 days later Hasbro reveals that Wasp will only be available in a two pack with a 12" Giant-Man for $90 as a Pulse exclusive, my Youtube algorithm turns into a screaming match, Robo decides to close the Fwoosh forums, Shartimus and Dan Yun get ejected from SDCC next year in a bloody fist fight over the decision to crowdfund an oversized Giant-Man with a 12" one in the pipeline that all Wasp buyers also have to buy, and then a hurricane wipes out all stock of both Giant-Men on the boat to the U.S. and Hasbro compensates everyone with a refund and loads of Wolverine/Psylocke 2 packs that didn't sell. And everyone brings it up every time a toy ever gets crowdfunded again.
just saying
the completionist in me paid $25 for this old school Mephisto figure
and it now sells for $200 on eBay
There’s a ton of Marvel Legends that were previewed at Toy Fairs that even to this day have not been released or remade

but I never understood the arguments about corporations making a profit. They are supposed to and so what if they do?
do corporations not employ people so that they can buy stuff and live?
it’s like people take out their anger on the wrong people but they never revolt against their real oppressors that tax and enslave them.
I’ve been watching too many toy collector reviews. That argument never made sense to me. I mean, yeah you kinda should care that a business exists otherwise there would be high unemployment and crime. Just seems so juvenile to blame a “billion dollar corporations”
your government is a trillion dollar ponzi scheme
I’ve paid more in tax than I’ve ever spent on this hobby
thats a sad and fucking fact
Don't even get me started on insurance companies. I'm paying nearly three Giant Mans per month if I combine health, auto, and home. My house has never been hit by a natural disaster, what a waste.

As great as he appears, I don't think this Giant Man is building any hospitals or maintaining any highways. I could be wrong though, I haven't watched every Hasbro stream.
Three-quarters there. Next stop, 80%!
I'd feel happier if this was Friday, but it's moving. Every little advance gets it closer to the tipping-point for the holdouts to fear missing out and finally back this puppy.
We're almost at the final 24 hours... I'm pretty discouraged tbh. I feel like this is going to be another Rancor situation where it'll be just shy of like 500 backers or so. :/

Sorry, can't let this one go.
The government provides a wealth of benefits for everyone and particular benefits for those in need. Social Security, subsidized housing, Medicare, food stamps, food inspection, environmental regulation, defense, transportation, education, and about a million other things.
The real oppressors are the corporations. They sell goods--made by the lowest bidder--for the maximum price while paying their employees the lowest possible salaries. Corporations don't care about the product or the consumer or the employee. Bootlicking for corporate America won't make your life any better, but it will make everyone else's worse. They all worship a god called Greed and nothing can sate his hunger.
