The only official non-Pulse sellers are those in markets without Pulse.   There are select partner retailers for those markets that don't have Pulse (like EB Games in Australia and New Zealand).  So the 200 bump yesterday might have been from one of those markets being added in, but I don't know.  It could just very well be an anomaly where for some reason a lot of people bought in that day.  Maybe payday?  Even though that shouldn't matter until the end of the funding period.

Who knows.

On shorter funding periods - I think they could work IF they give potential customers an idea of how much money to save. If I had known Giant-Man was going to cost $200 and not $400-500, I would have backed a Ghost. Hasbro lost themselves a sale.

There's got to be a better way for Hasbro to communicate to help the customers' budget without giving everything away, so more people may be able to purchase.

@enigmaticclarity I would assume you are right on all counts, though I do know that BBTS had the Haslab Skystriker for sale earlier this month.  That was well after they were delivered to consumers though, so maybe Hasbro had extra stock (either from cancellations, fewer returns than anticipated, etc) and they dumped them directly to BBTS themselves.  Or maybe the Skystriker, like the Sentinel, didn't have any purchase restrictions.

Whatever it was, it's neat to see an anomaly like that.  Keeps things a little more exciting in these middle doldrums.  Thanks again to @canprime for tracking and posting the data.

re the 200 bump - since they don't charge your card until it funds, it could be someone acting as a ringer to boost interest. Then once it gets close at funding time, they can cancel.

That would be insane (lol).   Also there is a limit of 5 units per customer so they would have had to had 40 different accounts.  hahaha

Either way it was a nice one day bump, here is the latest:

Giant-Man:

5,431 / 10,000 (19) 54.31% of funding goal with 23d 19h left.

In that colour he would make a great start to a ML Avengers Memorial Statue for the Mansion grounds.

I kinda like the grayscale edition for that exact purpose!

I’d love to actually have that statue in some way.

This is shaping up to be the first Marvel Haslab I don't back. If I can't get a Black Widow Target Exclusive at retail before the end of the funding period, I'm passing, both because the Giant Man is silly to own without Black Widow, and on principle against store exclusive nonsense.

Literally no one would want Giant Man without the new Black Widow. And the Black Widow is an eBay exclusive for many folks, including myself. I'm happy for everyone who's Target has shelves lined with them on clearance for $4.99. Fantastic. But all of mine have gotten zero and the website has been unavailable to order for months and my preorder was cancelled.

I guess I don't really "need" a massive Avengers display anyway. I can live without it. If it was a big deal I would order a Black Widow on eBay but it's not. I'm borderline whether I really want the Giant Man and lack of Black Widow availability is pushing me to the side of skipping it. I doubt my one preorder will make or break the funding so best of luck to everyone else who was able to secure a Black Widow and has put in their preorders.

It is very odd they aren't including any figures with this HasLab, a regular sized Giant Man, a Wasp, or something would have made this a home run.

It'll probably fund, but it's gonna drag to get there.

Personally I'm sitting this one out, had there been figures included it'd probably be a different story.

@ben

Can I ask why Black Widow is so essential to you getting Giant-Man?

Most people would say Wasp, I am unsure about the connection to Black Widow.

Giant-Man:

5,479 / 10,000 (+16) 54.79% of funding goal with 21d 16h left.

count me in as another person confused as to what Black Widow has to do with Giant-Man.  Personally prior to the mcu, i barely associated widow with the avengers, period, let alone thinking she has a strong connection to Hank Pym

sounds like you're taking out bitterness towards target on this haslab, which is fine i guess, not being able to order exclusive online or find in store definitely sucks,  but widow as a character has seemingly little to do with it.

Seems to also be conflating a retailer's inability to handle an exclusive properly versus a crowd-funding project.

I also think Target and Walmart are complete horseshit when it comes to handling exclusives, but I'm not seeing how that relates to Hasbro offering a crowd-funded project where, when it funds, you will get the item guaranteed, other than both products are produced by Hasbro.
