Same, the only positive for the leviathan is that it's the correct size.

So around 35 feet long since they're 400+ feet long in the films.  I'm all in!  😜

We have got to get things rolling if we want this Haslab Giant-Man to be made.

I find myself kicking around the idea of backing this.  In reality I probably won't, but I've given it more thought than any other Haslab.

I wonder if more people would be backing if it wasn't so huge. I would but I don't have the space for it in my Avengers display.

Yeah the size is pretty much why I'm not interested, it's a cool idea but I just don't have the space for it and would much prefer a 12 inch version like the old Toybiz figure.

Also, to contribute to that earlier talk about the Leviathan, I think it would be cool to have some physical merch of it even if it's just so I can pose Ant-Man punching it.

Feels like its a bit late for an mcu haslab, probably should've gone for that around the time Infinity War or Endgame came out (altho i think those both precede Haslab's existence).  But i suppose it as usual depends on price and how many backers are needed. There are still a lot of hardcore mcu fans around i think even if the mcu's popularity has waned a bit with the general public

Its cool to keep track of the numbers but i suspect it will just be a very slow increase until the last two days so it'll probably be a bit of a nail biter as to whether this funds or not.

And now I know exactly how to display him with the Barbie Dream House my daughter doesn't play with anymore. Thank you Alex Ross!

Well I think the whole point with these Haslabs is go big or go home.  I wonder how many back these with space being an afterthought.  Like they're saying, "Well, I'll back it, I don't have room for it, but I'll back it anyway."  I bet it's a lot.  🙂

My Avengers display consists of about 8 characters, so there's room.  But if I did back this, then it would be my gateway to wanting Galactus and Sentinel too.  I could find those locally for a reasonable mark up if I'm patient, but I just better not go down that road.

Most Legends collectors have pretty substantial collections as it is so I question the notion that a sizeable amount of the population is unwilling to back this because of size to the point where it could impact whether it funds or not. I think the stagnation has more to do with people just not being that excited about a $200 Giant Man. It's not a slam dunk like the Sentinel, and also unlike the Sentinel, there's very little incentive to order more than 1. I still think it funds, it just won't blow past the number needed to fund and those stretch goals may go unrealized. Plus, these campaigns tend to get altered in some way if they're not going well so it's not like there's any incentive to pledge now as opposed to last minute.

Listen I get people that some people get concerned and start questioning if it will back or not but in a way that arrutude tends to cause negative thinking and effects others thinking. Just let it play out. If you want fine go ahead back it. If you don't just don't back it no need to let others know why, if on the fence just consider what's best for you and then do what you want. You all still have a little over a month to decide.

@justice-freak sounds like you want to take the discussion out of a discussion forum. Whether people are worried, confident, or somewhere in between on this forum will probably have next to nothing to do with how successful it is. As noted, there's over a month to go before it's all said and done and people need something to talk about until then.

Same, the only positive for the leviathan is that it's the correct size. Demand just wouldn't be there for some random monster that is not a main bad guy or even a secondary named mook. If Giant Man succeeds we might see an equally sized MCU giant man. If vehicles are out since both the Milano and Quinnjet would be way too large the only other thing I could see working is a hall of armor playset, with house party protocol suits as stretch goals.

This should be happening anyway, without any special twists or timelines.  I've got 47 ML Iron Men in my collection in an armory display I built.  I'd love to have a display that I could hang on the wall or fill with other characters.   Seems like this would be an easy sell to anyone with 1/12 collections.  Ramen maybe?

I backed, but am a little concerned it may not fund. It's not even at the halfway point yet...

Really hoping they reveal something at Pulse Con to give it a much needed jolt.
