I don't really understand not liking the faceplates, but whatever.  They're better than extra heads because they take up less space, so let's not complain about getting extras, shall we?  Always better to get emotionless, angry, and smiling faces.

This looks great! I love that it's 24 inches as I think is probably the ideal height for this offering. I'm definitely going to back the project and would likely buy 2 (maybe 3?) if both faceplates fund.

I bought 3 Sentinels and always regretted not getting a fourth to use the battle damaged look. I never really considered getting more than one Galactus, but I certainly may buy more than one Giant Man and the price point makes that more realistic.

Once we heard the rumored $199 price point I knew that there wouldn't be multiple tiers of 6" figures, but not even one is disappointing -- but if that's what kept it under $200, then I"ll take it! I bet they release a new Wasp around the time this about to ship next fall -- maybe in a 2-pack with lab coat Hank.

I've never been happier about being wrong in regards to saying that I didn't think that they'd ever release a HasLab this cheap!!

They said they're working on a T3, honestly haven't decided, and that they'll take feedback.

IMHO, a "First Appearance" Wasp is the way to go.

I also don't think that's unreasonable as her first suit had blue gloves with blue tinted wings and leggings and her first Avengers suit (which could be retail) had red gloves and clear tinted wings.

Putting ,arguably, one of the most highly requested Avengers related figures as a tier of this project, knowing that a number of collectors likely have the ToyBiz Giant Man already, that absolutely holds up and they're satisfied with, would be a disaster.

Putting it as the 16,000 option aswell?

They're not that stupid. We all know Hasbro's marketing techniques and the nature of their selling, but that wouldn't even be an incentive for the project, it would be spitting in peoples faces.

Then telling everyone, here's this super exclusive tier you are ONLY getting in this Haslab, getting people to begrudgingly fork out the $200, and saying, gotcha, here's a single release!

People can imply Hasbro is shady and there'll be a chorus of "I wouldn't put it past them" that comes from their own baggage with the company, but no, that to me, seems insane.

Ryan explicitly said during the stream today that they didn't want to do extra figures in this campaign and would prefer to do those as separate releases after people complained about it so much during last year's Ghost Rider Haslab.

I haven’t been in on any of the Haslabs, due to space and I wasn’t a huge fan of some of the design elements for Galactus or the Sentinel. This time I’m in; the pricepoint and sculpt are perfect, even if I never display him, he looks great.

I'm glad there's no figure unlocks, there's almost no reason to make full characters exclusive to a Haslab. I didnt like it in Galactus or the Hell Charger. These unlocks just add raw value to the actual Haslab itself, and I think that's pretty cool.

This honestly looks amazing. The engineering, the sculpting, the paint,  all better than what I was ready to expect.

I'll never be in the market for a 2' action figure, but credit where due: this thing's pretty awesome.

Yea, I am totally fine with that too. It's like the concept of large format figures vs BAF. I hate having to buy figures I don't want to BAF. This is the opposite. I didn't want to buy the HC just to get the tier figures.

I totally agree that the swappable face plates are cool in this format.   And the alternate human faces are neat -  as you say, I'm more likely to swap a face plate than an entire head, in part because I can keep face plates handy since they take up so much less space than an entire extra head.

I just don't care about the Zombie and Skrull face plates because I won't use them.   It's cool that they exist and if someone has the resources and display space to buy 3 and use those alternate face identities in multiple displays, good on ya.     I'm not mad at this project at all.

I do think, even though they felt burned about putting figures in as tiers because of the Ghost Rider experience that they had some options that could have worked.    Like I said -  use the recent Bruce Banner figure with repainted shirt and pants and the head from the WCA 5 pack to get Lab Coat Hank.    There's NO WAY anyone would throw a fit about not getting that figure  but it would be a nice little plus to the package that wasn't just a different face.

Snickering at all of the "24" inches is too much!" comments...

Hasbro needed this to reset expectations. I've been hard on the whole HasLab model from the beginning, and I do still generally think they could release this stuff in another way, but $200 for a 24" figure is far more reasonable than some of the other crap they've tried to pull in the past. It became apparent that stretch goals were no longer being added as the cost per unit came down and were really being factored into the upfront cost. Quarter scale and sixth scale figures are routinely approaching the $200 mark and at times exceeding it so the price here strikes me as reasonable (Note: I did not investigate the shipping cost so if it's substantial then feel free to account for that as well) and the stretch goals seem to make sense. This campaign should be able to either live and die on its own merits as opposed to more subjective takes on value. If you want a giant Giant Man, here you go! I do not, but if I did I'd be fine paying $200 for it.

I still think 24in is too big for Giant Man.  It would have been nice to get more variety in the heights of these Haslab figures.  I also don't care about the faceplates.  I don't hate them or anything but I'll never use them.  All that said, the price isn't much so I'll get him.  I wonder how much the BAF Giant Man's prices will drop, because I wouldn't mind using him to partially fund his replacement.

That was it? Just 30 minutes of Giant-Man? No more reveals? :/ 🙁 Neat reveal, but also kinda disappointed. I was expecting more figures, after the Haslab reveal.

If only we'd been warned.

Fair enough, I must've missed it. 😛 😆

Gotta disagree that this thing as shown is highly overpriced at $200. If you think they should have cut some aspects of the product to bring the price down that's a different story, but for this thing as designed I think the price is bang on. Still might not be worth the price to any one person, but I'm impressed with the product.

Update: I can’t find it, but I found the other posts I saw it mixed in with, so I don’t know if it was deleted, fake, or whatever. But in my search to find it I ended up seeing several photos of the Engine of Vengeance so now I’m super bummed out all over again.

You and me both! I still lament the lack of a Hellcharger that would be coming my way soon, but the people spoke. At least Ramen Toy stepped in - their project is shaping up to be a worthy substitute for the real thing. Just gotta make myself a Robbie figure!

Care to restart the Ramen thread? I haven't read any updates since you posted in the now-obliterated-old-thread 🤣

I'm not that much of a glutton for punishment! After the board collapse the already-tiny number of people interested has dwindled even further!

I like it. I will back it. My excitement is tempered by my inability to buy the Black Widow figure. Making that a Target exclusive is disappointing.
