So I finally got my Giant Man. It was lost for 2 weeks, but I now have him. Still, they did their best to piss me off more. I got an email today saying my case was closed. Check their website and it still shows in limbo (not delivered). I call Walgreens and after being put on hold 3 different times, they found it. I heard one guy ask the other "Did you check?" and the other guy goes "Oops". This was 3 hours ago. 10 minutes ago, I did get a "delivered" from Shop.
Of course, 2 side eyes and my downward looking eyes has a wonky (looking inward) eye on his left eye. The rest looks absolutely amazing! He is stunning to look at. Seriously have to heat up those fingers, though.
Glad you finally got him. Sorry you had to go through the wringer to finally get it. I still have to heat up the fingers as well. Needless to say, most of us got the wonky eyes.
Finally opened mine. Side eye of course. Every Haslab I get has SOMETHING wrong with it. My Giant man has VERY weak ratchets in the lateral (raising out to the side) left shoulder. About 1/4 as tight as the right shoulder. It will hold his arm out, but that's about it.
Everything else is fine. Now to get in line for better eyes.
So Giant Man has been on my coffee table since I got it and I just love his presence and look. The paint. The detailing. The eyes. He's just amazing.
Except the hands.
Mine work fine. I doused them in water first thing so zero problems with their functionality. But I just don't care for how they look close up. I'd have much preferred several different types of hands that could be swapped out. Proper fists, holding villain hands (maybe a couple for different size grips for different sized villains), and relaxed hands.
Agreed. They work great for zombie fingers, all broken and going in wrong directions. But the few times I've tried to use them they are SO MUCH WORK I give up. Pretty much the same with Galactus.
Hyper-articulated hands are never my favorite part.
Each hand is basically an entire action figure to pose on its own. I appreciate the articulation, but would have liked it to be easier to move without fear of breaking. It does take work to put them in positions that look natural. Same reason it is hard to draw hands.

This. So, so very much this. I hate them on Transformers, and I REALLY hate them on action figures. I'm more than good with different swappable hand options.

Same here. I expressed that opinion on Reddit as well and got heavily downvoted. Shrug
I enjoy posing action figures so I enjoy a challenge. The fingers and overly-big wired Batman capes are fun. The pegs on Giant-Man's fingers are too small and that's an engineering design flaw, but they're workable if you heat them a few times and I haven't had issues with mine. I'm very glad he has the articulated fingers, and I'm glad they did it for next year's Sentinel as well.
I had a fused pinky finger. I contacted Pulse, hoping to just get a replacement hand or finger. They said they didn't have parts but that I could return the whole thing for a replacement. I sat on that for a couple days thinking about it and decided that if I was going to spend this much money on something I deserve to have one that is fully functional.
Success! I got my Giant-Man! The finger joints are all functional and way less stiff.
FYI, Hasbro customer service seems to have a separate database of addresses than Pulse proper. They sent my new Giant-Man to a house I haven't lived in for four years.
For those getting the messed up eyes - is there a time limit on when you can make the claim for a replacement set? I don't know when I'll be able to head down to my PO Box, and I don't want to miss out on the ability to get a replacement if mind is also screwed up.

I doubt anyone knows, but the Pulse return policy is 30 days from date of receipt so I definitely wouldn't wait longer than that.

Much appreciated. Might have to prioritize a trip down there soon.
