Would you prefer Fin Fang Foom and Ultimo be pre-orders like Dragon Man and the Sentinel?
@wummyhulk I don’t think I would. I don’t have a burning desire (or space) for a large green dragon, and Ultimo is kind of bland (to me at least) to be honest. So they’d both be passes for me.
Would anyone back a Haslab Marvel Legends Fin Fang Foom or Ultimo? Just asking.
I would like a Fin Fang Foom, but not for the price that a HasLab would likely cost. Like @wummyhulk said, Ultimo is kinda plain to be spending big-fig money on.

Even as a Dragon Man model, I think I’d pass on those two.
I just say an interview with Dwight from MCM London. I can't remember who the Youtuber was (it wasn't Dan Who).Would you prefer Fin Fang Foom and Ultimo be pre-orders like Dragon Man and the Sentinel?
Anyway, he mentioned that Fin Fang Foom would probably have to be a Haslab at $400-$500US. This is the second time that has been mentioned by one of the ML team. Dan Yun mentioned something similar last year(?, 2 years ago?).
So I am going to guess that they have already done the math on a Fin Fang Foom and come to the conclusion it won't be worth it without a high price tag, and probably the Haslab model to sell it. Again just my guess based on two interviews, but I get the feeling Fin Fang Foom is going to be a bit of a pipe dream until they decide to get him done.
As for release, my personal preference in general is for them to drop the Haslab model completely and just stick to the preorder model. I don't really need too many extras with these giant figures, especially other figures. And I am fine with not having to wait and see if stuff gets unlocked without feeling like they jipped us when a tier doesn't unlock.
I'd be 100% in on a Fin Fang Foom Haslab or preorder. $400-500 seems like a tall order for people to support the Haslab; I wonder if a preorder model wouldn't move more out of sheer FOMO.
I'm glad to see that they abandoned the Tully early bird for the Ghostbusters Haslab - it's the worst way to set up that incentive, and threatens to remove value in the middle of a campaign and totally kill momenthum. Hopefully that's the last we see of that gimmick.
I think I'd pass on FFF at 400-500.
I think I'd pass on Fin Fang Foom under any circumstance mostly due to lack of space. I love dragons, but that one seems a little goofy and he doesn't really fit into a superhero world in any way that I've enjoyed in past stories. He's also an odd mix of historical dragon styles. He's primarily Chinese in style and if memory serves he came from China in the Strange Tales story he first appeared in, but he's also got a weird mix of the way people thought Tyrannosaurs were built and how they walked upright back when Lee and Kirby first created him in 1961. Godzilla also was modelled after that upright T-Rex walking style I suppose.
I'd love a highly articulated dragon in the style of the ones in Game of Thrones though. Or something like Smaug from Peter Jackson's Hobbit films.
I think when Dwight says "Fin Fang Foom would be $400 to $500", he is purposely leaving out the rest of that statement, which is "...and we don't think we'll get 15,000 people to buy him at that price".
My sense is whenever the team mentions how much something will cost when asked about doing X, they are in effect saying it will cost too much for it to work.
I was on hold with Consumer Care for 45 minutes, then an automated message came on and said they were closed (at 1:15 ET on a Monday). Trying the email route now.
I got a reply this morning from Customer Care saying that everything is all good to go and I'll received a corrected set of straight-forward eyes around mid-December.
"Hi Eric,
Thank you for your email regarding replacement parts for your Haslab Marvel Legends Giant-Man, we’re just as excited about this colossal figure as you are!
Our Haslab team partnered closely with Pym Labs to bring the biggest original Avenger to life, and we know how excited fans are to have him in their collections. In the whirlwind of getting this larger-than-life figure into the hands of fans, Giant-Man shipped out before all replacement parts were finalized at the laboratory. Good news! We’ve secured the part you need, and you can expect it to arrive around mid-December. Once it ships, we’ll send you an email with the tracking info so you can keep an eye on your new addition.
Thanks for your patience, and for being part of the Marvel family!
Warm regards,
Gian

I was finally able to open mine up. I got a pair of good slightly downward-facing eyes which works for me, so I'm happy. Heated up all the fingers and got them mobile. Moved him around. In short, love him.
However when I was straightening out his leg after testing out his articulation I caught the little meat-wing that connects my thumb and index finger in his knee joint, so I've contacted my lawyer and will be suing Hasbro for approximately 1.3 billion dollars.
