who tf broke this thread

There's something weird in Joel's last post.  Should clear up once we get enough posts to get to the next page.

And here we are!

Got Giant Man yesterday! Very cool figure. I still need to heat up the hands. I only got left-facing eyes so I need to call as well.

Are the finger joints on anyone's super tight? Mine have no give and I don't want to push too hard and break.

The hands pop off pretty easily and you cans just drop them in hot water. Just don't do it while Giant-Man is sleeping or he'll pee his pants.

I had a fused pinky finger. I contacted Pulse, hoping to just get a replacement hand or finger. They said they didn't have parts but that I could return the whole thing for a replacement. I sat on that for a couple days thinking about it and decided that if I was going to spend this much money on something I deserve to have one that is fully functional. Maybe I'll get lucky and the new one will have the correct eyes

I emailed Pulse support, they responded quickly saying they had referred my issue to global support and that they would respond within 72 hours.

Support got back to me yesterday around noon and asked for that same list of information that you guys who called were also asked for.  Here's what they asked for, copied and pasted.  Order number seems problematic for anyone who bought theirs second hand...and why do they need that anyway? Are they afraid I made a bootleg just to get a pair of eyes?  🤨

-Hasbro Pulse Order number

-Photo(s) of issue

-Confirm US or Canada shipping address

-Date code of product; five digit code on foot, leg or back of figure OR on package: EX 91234A

-Vendor code; on foot, leg or back of figure OR on package near "Made in China": EX C-123A

Did the hot water not work for you? I'd be scared to death to return this guy and hope for better.

I've had some joints I had to heat more than others.  One of my Sauron's wing flap joints was fused for over a year back when I first got it, so eventually I half-gave up and dunked it into very hot water that was still boiling realizing that it was a risk of smudging the paint or seriously deforming the plastic.  What happened was I finally un-fused the joint and it still works fine now.

@thor-el It was one of those instances where it came out as a single, solid piece instead of a two-part joint. Hot water worked on all the other joints, but not this one. I'm terrified of what I might get back as well. I thought about it real hard before I decided to try for a replacement.

Has anyone who is trying to get a straight-on set of eyes found both of these codes?  I found the "vendor code" near the "Made in China" banner on the packaging, but not the "date code."  I also see no codes on the figure's legs or feet.

Nevermind, I found two five-digit codes on the bottom of the head.

@enigmaticclarity thanks for the insight. I'd been wondering where those numbers were. My form has now been submitted.

Do you just email customer support and wait for a response with those specific questions?

[email protected]

Or call 1-800-255-5516, but I’d email them first.

@wummyhulk I’d love Fin Fang Foom and Ultimo. But I’d be so upset if they were failed Haslabs.
