My wife signed for my second Giant Man yesterday. She didn't know what it was, despite seeing my loose one on the table in our bedroom (W: "Who's the big guy?" Me: "Giant Man". W: "No it's not, that's some dumb name I'd come up with if I was making fun of it.")
I guess I never looked closely enough at art depicting Giant Man, but I always thought the antennae were white. That's how it looks in my mind's eye. Granted, I never read those early issues in which he appeared. I do prefer the white. But now that I know it's more accurate, I'll probably switch to black.
So while I think the white looks better, I'll be going with the black to match that.

Same- I guess we've been mandela-effect-ed by staring at the old ToyBiz BAF all these years. I currently have the white ones in. For some reason I also feel compelled to switch them, despite liking the white better.
Put a long-ish dish in the microwave for 4 minutes, dropped Hank's hands in, let them sit for 45 seconds, pulled them out with tongs, bent each finger into a closed fist on both hands, bent each finger back straight and back into a fist again on both hands, and I'm done. All of the finger joints seem quite pliable now, but I've seen that change back to being stiff in the past so we'll see.
Either way those tiny pegs in the fingers are just a bit fragile no matter what you do. I'm using my safest hinge rotation technique on those fingers, which is to say I'm putting my fingers and thumb as close to each joint as possible and pushing near the joint to minimize the chance it will break. It's tough for most of the finger segments particularly the tip which is quite tiny.
But for now it's all working great. I can casually bend all the fingers now without much effort, although as I said I'm still mostly being careful.
Called Hasbro Customer Care and they took my info for the replacement forward facing eyes. They said December most likely.
Hank just arrived and like many others I’ve got two sets of left-facing eyes. Looks like a call is in order, but aside from that he’s a fantastic figure. VERY happy with him.
Zombie Hank looks menacing with the rest of the gang.
Hey, that hair-down Wanda head looks fantastic! What's the recipe?
I haven't opened my three as of yet. I have sometime this weekend to actually relax since I have this Sunday off. I'm pretty sure with my luck I will be making a call to Hasbro Customer Service for three sets.
Made my call to Customer Service this morning and had a wonderful interaction and laugh with the representative. Replacement eye part should be coming in December sometime.
Are the finger joints on anyone's super tight? Mine have no give and I don't want to push too hard and break.
it’s like that on every copy, use heat to move them. I used a hair dryer, others used hot water. Are the finger joints on anyone's super tight? Mine have no give and I don't want to push too hard and break.
