I keep looking for info from the London Con to see if anybody asked Dwight about Giant-Man's wonky eyes. I haven't found anything yet, which is surprising since there were influencers there.

Just posted by Dan Who moments ago.  Haven't watched it yet, but Dan says at the start he did ask Dwight about the eyes.

OK, I watched Dan's interview.  Dwight said that they're printing more correct eyes now, and if you didn't get the straight eyes then contact Pulse customer support and they should eventually ship new ones out.

That's a photographic illusion, isn't it?  You didn't actually balance that group up there did you?  Great posing idea!

Real as it gets. I don’t have the skills for trick photos. The platform toppled as I was uploading the pic.

That is unbelievably cool! Great is my envy that you managed to do that. My Giant-Man should arrive tomorrow.

Going to Dan Who’s interview with Dwight, I think Dwight’s response was really good. I like how he said fans aren’t just yelling into the void, and that we are heard. Plus, the ease with which it sounds like folks can get replacement eyes will be pretty straightforward. So, yay if that’s needed.

With the exception of the eyes, this dude is perfect. I love it. The fingers are definitely scary to move around, but I used heat the first time around. It got easier after that. He’s honestly not that difficult to pose, at least for me. Not as difficult as moving Galactus or the Sentinel. I think the alternate heads are not something I’ll use, though I would have if they included a smirk instead of that psychotic grin. And I’d prefer a Skrull head over the Zombie head. I haven’t even taken that out of the plastic. The eyes I got look down, to the left, and more to the left. I’ll be using the slight left eyes until I can get a replacement set of straight eyes.

Thanks for posting!

19:45 - Dwight did address the eye situation in a very straightforward and honest manner. Basically, call Hasbro Customer Care, but definitely listen to what he has to say.

This is actually a really good interview. Dwight is a great interview. Knowledgeable, charming and totally a goofball.

@enigmaticclarity Man that is great news for you guys who backed Giant-Man.

I never thought I would see Hasbro do an actual correction for this product, but I guess it is a low cost (or no cost) option for them.   I would assume this means the factory is going to do the run, possibly for free?   I guess the only issue for them is having to pay for shipping out the new eyes because it looks like it could be thousands of them being made and shipped.

Either way this is a win for the backers (for once) on a problem.

Good news on the eyes.  I've been using the looking down eyes as they are the only ones that look mostly straight.  But they don't work if you want Hank to battle a Sentinel or Galactus.  He looks silly starring at his naval while fighting bigger foes.

I still have to take the time to heat up the hands as those things make me nervous out of the box.

Otherwise, this guy is awesome and I'm very happy to have him.

Great picture Norm!

Mine arrives tomorrow (unless Fed Ex beats me home and it ends up at Walgreens), but it's great to hear that if mine has messed up eyes, I'll get replacements.

Norm, that picture is awesome! It may not have lasted, but it's gonna be hard for anyone to top it.

The photo is really meant to illustrate how strong and stable the figure is. Those joints ain’t going no where. I was able to nudge the Sentinel’s fingers so I don’t think it would be able to hold eight figures on a shelf like that. It was challenging to balance, but not so bad when you start heavy and add counter balances.

The default eyes are slightly off center from each other on mine but not too bad.

How does this work?  I knew you could redirect to a FedEx pickup location like Walgreens, but the way you're describing it sounds like they try your house first but then drop it at Walgreens if you're not home.  Never heard of that before.

Aaah, thanks yes that's right. I've definitely asked you this before - probably more than once!

@normdapito - That photo of GM holding up the team convinced me to keep GM, as I will now try to figure out how to emulate that in a permanent display. It solves my main issue which was having GM towering over the Avengers. I had envisioned something like this with GM kneeling and holding up the ceiling with the Avengers underneath, but I like this better...or maybe as I planned. But good to see it in action.
