Man...that Reed looks like crap next to Dragon Man. We already need a new pinless F4 set on the better bodies. Honestly, they should just make new molds for them with texture on the costume, not just paint.

Yeah... that last Fantastic Four wave sold like gang busters. I'm sure they're falling all over themselves to release the whole team all over again on new bodies.
The last set was fine and the last thing Legends needs right now is another pass at this same team again
When the movie comes out, they'll do the team in their movie likenesses and then eventually revisit comic looks after that I'm sure.
There were a few questions I forgot to ask the team. One of them was will there be any companion pieces to Giant-Man shipping, like Yellowjacket. Another was why didn't Jan come with a small version.

This one I can answer. It was about the only question I got a chance to ask them, and unfortunately the answer is not good. No, there will not be any more Giant-Man or Ant-Man related figures this year. No Yellowjacket and no bronze age Wasp. They have their schedule planned out for the foreseeable future and the size changers aren't on it.
As for why Silver Age Jan didn't come with a small version, that I don't know because I didn't think to ask, but the answer probably comes down to what it always comes down to: Budget.
Again, as always, it doesn't mean we're NEVER going to get an updated Yellowjacket or Wasp. I'm sure we will at some point, just not in the immediate future.

Yeah...because the figures were crap. Old reused molds. Sue face was horrible. Reed didn't come with long arms, Thing lost all it's paint. The only good figures in the entire wave were the villains. And even then, they should have chosen more interesting characters.
Walgreens F4 sold really well and was hard two find. Who cared about Squadron Supreme? Yet people bought them anyway, because half the figures were good and you could complete the team.

It really wasn't. Put Sue or Reed next to modern Hasbro ML, like Miss Marvel, She Hulk or Black Widow. They look like crap.

Why not do it right before the movie comes out to make more money? What if the Movie is mediocre\bad and no one cares about F4?
Like, it's not that hard to think...If they put more care into these figures, people will buy them. People want new characters for their shelf all the time, but if the old ones look bad, what's the point? I don't want to put future F4 She Hulk next to the crappy F4 figures. She will look better than all of them.
Broad brush. The Thing figure is great. Human Torch too. Sue and Reed is where they fell down.
Honestly, I love the Reed figure. The new sculpted torso especially. I bought two of the Walgreens version and have the second as my de-powered Johnny. I’m generally happy with them all except for the last Sue’s terrible head sculpt (or paint job).
It can be both. Zellweger by way of Trump. And those awful legs.
Any word if the two pack will be offered again? There were a few questions I forgot to ask the team. One of them was will there be any companion pieces to Giant-Man shipping, like Yellowjacket. I wonder when they'll have the unboxing of Giant-Man, before or after Pulsecon?
I'm really hoping that when the Haslab Giant Man starts shipping, they offer the 2 pack again. I missed out on the initial run and really want it for both figures.
I just got a message from Pulse to verify my address by October 10th as they prepare Pym to ship!
We might have Giant-Man in a month!
Thanks for posting! I just checked and had the same email. If we're this close to shipping I'm surprised they didn't mention it during the stream - I wonder if they have something else planned for NYCC?
Would be really great if they have something timed to release when GM ships. At the very least, I hope they make the Wasp/Giant-Man 2-pack available again for those who missed it.
I just remembered I ordered TWO Giant Man figures. Guess the extra can hang out with the extra Dragon Man figures I ordered. I am a greedy hoarder.
