According to the Star Wars insiders it's pretty much understood that the Throne Room was developed as a HasLab and for whatever reason was switched to a lengthy PO.

Looks an experiment to see how these products sell without the time crunch and the no potential for "discounts." I'm assuming it failed since we haven't seen anything like it since then and Giant Man would have been a good product to do like this for Legends.

With Crystar getting a figure and Rom and Micronauts getting omnis from Marvel. Could ROM bd next as s figure? Godzilla getting an Omnibus from Marvel, wouldn’t it be great to get a 30” or 36” tall Godzilla?  Or more likely Shogun Warriors which I believe they own

My ROM omni is already preordered. I’m hoping so very much for a MLs ROM.

Also, I would love a Red Ronin Haslab even though it might be the unlikeliest concept ever…

We've discussed this a fair bit and there are complications that affect ROM, Micronauts and Godzilla that don't impact Crystar.   Namely that Marvel owns Crystar and so he is part of the master license with Hasbro to do Legends.      Hasbro owns ROM and Micronauts (well half of them) and so could release figures if they wanted to,  but to get them into the Marvel branded line they would actually have to get Marvel to sign off and Marvel doesn't have much incentive to sign off ... so it's logistically sticky - though probably not utterly impossible.

Godzilla is even more complicated because that character is owned by Toho and so a Marvel adjacent Godzilla toy would require contract agreements so intricate none of the parties probably want to work too hard to do.   And for something in the 30 to 36 inch range we're talking Haslab project -  so unclear how the three parties would work on proceeds for something like that.

As for Shogun Warriors -  those were made by Mattel way back when, but the characters were licensed from the owners in Japan -  so I would be utterly shocked if Hasbro showed any interest or inclination in approaching the Japanese owners of the characters to make HasLab sized project toys.

Regarding Micronauts, I’d very much like figures of the Microns Rann, Marionette, Bug, and Hun-tarr.

All massive wants of mine!! I truly hope this eventually happens. Would be even better if Hasbro did a  compatible line of Micronauts that they could have on the shelves, alongside the "Microns" characters Marvel owns in the Legends line.

I thought there was a Haslab thread, but I’ll leave this here in the absence of one. The more I think about it, and as unlikely as it may be, I want a Haslab Red Ronin.

So which version of the box art will you be voting for? I kind of like the third at the moment.

Option C digs up the resentment from people who thought Wasp should have been included.  😬

I like A best anyway.

I went with B, but A is just fine also.

B with the buildings in the background really encapsulates the scale, and I just prefer it compositionally. But it's really neither here nor there between that and A.

C tried it's best.

A for me too, but honestly it doesn't matter at all to me.

Either A or B is ok, although I wish it was just Pym and not the other Avengers. C does nothing for me - it's too close up.

A for me.  But the packaging really isn't a big deal to me.

Now a vote for what additional items to make to go with the Giant Man figure when it is released next year, that would be cool.  All for an additional charge of course.
