I would hope this is obvious, but I haven’t seen it mentioned a lot, whatever form Giant Man takes, please include a six inch Legends figure of him in the same outfit. Giant Man doesn’t spend all his free time in Giant form.
i always thought it was odd as is hank had a different costume as antman and giantman. i like that the MCU streamlined it
I don't mind the combination, but I do think Ant-Man has one of the single worst MCU costumes. It's the comic costume but drab.
Honestly, I don't know if I can justify to myself a $300-$400 figure that I already have a version of that I am happy with. The ToyBiz BAF still holds up, for the most part. MAYBE if the tiers are just phenomenal, but even then...finances are tight these days.
i mean... look at the silhouette without the lines, that's kinda a robust chest for a guy
Do you know what lats are? But hey...keep trying to analyze a shadow.

I tend to agree. If it's the same costume as the TB BAF and the tiers aren't "must-haves", I'd rather save some money and buy the BAF for ~$175 (sold mine off many years ago, sadly).
I would be surprised if the base offering here is multiple "giant" figures, or a giant lady character. I think it's going to be a classic Hank Pym version, or something very close to it. Let's not overthink this.
I really don't want a Giant-Man taller than 18" or 20", and I sure hope they don't include things like zombie heads thinking that's a desirable accessory or tier to justify a higher price point. The vast majority of collectors will never display Giant-Man with these things, just as most collectors probably haven't turned in the lights on Galactus since the first few days they have the thing.
There is a very challenging balance Hasbro has to achieve with the other figures and accessories. Something juicy enough to entice people to pay what I imagine will be at least $250, probably $300, if not more, but not so juicy that collectors who don't want or can't afford this won't feel that critical characters are being locked behind such an expensive paywall.
If my worst nightmare becomes true and Jarvis IS one of the tier figures for this campaign, I really hope he's not the highest level. I'm going to be absolutely crushed if we fail to reach the unlock for him. He's absolutely critical to an Avengers display.
My worst nightmare is regular size 1st appearance Wasp being a tier at all because if this doesn't fund, we won't get her - maybe ever, or not for a very, very long time. She is the only founder without a classic costume, and she deserves to be front and center with the boys.
Tiers being desired characters/costumes - Wow I can't believe Hasbro is locking this essential figure behind a $400 paywall.
Tiers being shit characters - Are they even trying to get this thing funded?
Bonus: Tiers being desired characters but doesn't fund - Y'all complained about the price too much because you can't afford it / It's because y'all couldn't stop telling others how bad of a deal this is.
LOL, I just had a funny thought. What if they made Giant Man like they did that kids' Growing Groot that they showed at SDCC - where it grew taller when you pushed a button... Can you imagine??? LOL, surely they'd never be that out of touch - but imagine the outrage.... LOL
I still think it's going to be a $400 24-25 inch Giant Man with Tier 1 being an alternate head or heads and possibly mini figures / ants, Tier 2 being First Appearance Wasp and Tier 3 being Yellowjacket (could be either Hank or Rita). If they went farther than that then I could see Jarvis as a final tier.
In terms of alternate heads, there are so many possibilities: Skrull, Zombie, Unmasked Hank, any of the other Giant Man/Goliath/Atlas character heads that could even somewhat go with the costume they choose (which I'm expecting will be a classic red, although the blue/yellow would be the 2nd most likely). There are just so many options there that I can't imagine that they won't do at least one -- besides that will give someone out there the desire/need to army build it...

I said exactly this when they announced both Galactus and the Sentinels... but I still bought them, 3 Sentinels in fact. I feel the same way about Giant-Man but expect that I'll likely buy him as well. This hobby is a powerful addiction.

This is so true! I didn't back the Engine of Vengeance because I didn't want the car, period -- but I'll always have some tinge of regret knowing that we'll likely never get comic versions of Robbie, Mephisto, Madelyne or Hellstrom now. Mephisto will likely get a MCU version if/when the long rumored Sascha Baron Cohen appearance finally happens -- but I doubt that we'll ever see comic versions of any of these characters for as long as Hasbro holds the license.
Regarding NORM's sizing. I think Goliath should be larger than Giant Man. Didn't Pym have problems growing too big as Giant Man? And then maybe it was resolved by Goliath time? Of do I have that backward?
Strike that, reverse it.

@ashtalon um might want to get that checked out if you think your back muscles pop out as the widest part of your body like that.
