Worrying about Fin Fang Foom causing controversy is just silly paranoid talk. He could do well as a Haslab.

Right?  Let's not overthink this.  Someone above said he would require all new parts, all new tooling and articulation.  Yes.  Hell yes he would.  And that's not some great, insurmountable feat.  This is a hundreds-of-dollars, adult-collector-targeted crowd fund.  Multimillion dollar toy company can put on their big boy pants for this and get it done.

But look at me, I'm over here talking up a fantasy Haslab Fin Fang Foom, and the reality for me is I wouldn't be able to back it any more that I could back any other Haslab ever.  It would be cool to see, though.  What would be more realistic for me would be them rereleasing the BAF, which would probably be less likely to happen if FFF was a Haslab, so maybe I better pipe down now 🙂

@thewyldman I had this same idea as one possibility I would suggest. I would definitely buy the Hammer Drones, and would be even happier if they included some tier unlocks for some unmade Iron Man 2 stuff we are unlikely to ever get

I never really understood why they put shorts on Foom in the first place.

I mean, who hasn't seen a big green schlong before?

They should try the Engine of Vengeance again, without the extra figures. Just the car, Robbie, and a lower price. You just know they had plans for Ghost Rider stuff that was scrapped because of the haslab failure.

I can't see them doing MCU Giant-Man. Especially the year right after another Giant-Man campaign

If you did an MCU haslab, you could use it to fund a collection of smaller figs that just don't fit price points or whatever. What about like a 4 pack of hammer drones from Iron Man 2?

I would definitely buy a bunch of Hammer drones!

Would also have to include full figures of both Robbie's, that BS with the early bird ruined it for me right out of the gate

There was a big blue schlong in the Watchmen movie.

That was ... kinda ... um ...

Yeah, maybe Foom should wear the shorts.

too bad their werent this many enthusiastic responses for the EoV.

find it weird that the critics justify criticism and negatively they are guilty of last year for that previous campaign. Asking why something failed and why it wasnt done differently from before doesnt make someone a hater FYI. The scapegoating is ignored as is the holier than thou attitude toy collectors engage in with their audience. Im looking back at those EoV videos from well known YouTube "reviewers"... and I still hold a lot of yall to blame.

I dont need to be reminded this is a hobby. I've been in this hobby longer than you had a YouTube channel.

I spent the good portion of today unpacking my collection from the move, and I remember why I started in the first place. It had nothing to do with YouTube reviewers thats for sure. Gatekeepers in this hobby make watching these videos unbearable actually. I've never actually hated a Marvel Legend figure, and I feel a bit awkward having discussions with people that nit pick the tiniest details. But I thank yall again for getting this funded. No Skrull head / Skrull Head included doesnt change my feelings about my purchase. I am 110% happy with it. I may end up cancelling some orders because I have enough life responsibilities and limited space as is. My collection will last longer than the relevance of a critic's opinion. I look forward to enjoying the fruits of my own labor and possibly customizing my collection to suit my needs better.

Collect with passion and for your own reasons.

I backed and I'm super excited! However, I LOVE me some Skrulls so my intention was to display him as a Skrull. I REALLY wanted the Skrull head! It won't happen, BUT it would be cool that since we got so close there would be an option to SELECT whether you want the Skrull head or the Zombie head. That would be cool.

As for the next Haslab, I think it's the only way we get a big Imperial Guard team.  Start with 8 figures for $225. With each tier, add a new figure.

I'd also LOVE X-Tinction Agenda Cameron Hodge!! I would lose my mind.

This is yet another situation where I wish the Marvel Legends world had as robust a 3rd Party presence as the Transformers world. If there were, there would already be 3rd Party Skrull upgrade kits announced for this Giant-Man.

EDIT: Add me to the Hodge wishlist! I hope that when the Legends team mentioned they were looking at smaller HasLab projects, they weren't referring to Giant-Man, but rather characters like Hodge that are slightly larger than what can be offered in Deluxe, but aren't huge like the Sentinel, Galactus, and now, Giant-Man.

We won't get Skrull head unless there were some numbers unaccounted for somewhere and it bumps it over. That being said, they sculpted the thing, maybe they could find a way to sell it on its own or include it with some sort of other program to give people a chance to pick it up, it's a shame to lose it, but they laid out the terms, it's on us that it didn't make it

The only thing is, during the last hour or so there were many people having issues processing their orders and I am sure more than 111 orders were attempted and failed due to this.

Honestly, my reaction is "tough shit." The campaign lasted for 45 days. Don't hold out until the very last minute.

I know and recognize that some people have to wait for financial reasons, and I sympathize with that. But, I'm sure that the vast majority of the 4000+ orders that came in during the last 8 hours were fence-sitters and FOMO folks that could have backed this much earlier in the campaign, thus reducing a whole lot of stress and anxiety for both backers and the Legends Team themselves, while also possibly contributing to positive momentum for the campaign that would have lead to increased numbers (and the final tier being unlocked) in the end.

So, if there were 111+ people that could have backed earlier in the campaign, but missed out because they chose to wait until the last minute, fuck those people.
