I left the boards after Galactus reached tier four
it rose 8000 after that. I was a bit disappointed that it grew that high (I’m not gonna lie)
any surplus in this case just goes towards the possibility of securing the Skrull head.
this might end up short of 12 000 or a high of 16 000 at this rate
FOMO is a powerful drug
I buy multiple or multiples because cost of replacement is too high. I intend to keep my collection til the day I die. If an improved sculpt comes I typically replace my unboxed figures.
@panthercult I've backed dozens of crowd-funds now. The ones that succeed basically always have this rush at the end. It's largely people who were fence-sitting until the fomo overtakes them. They're ok spending the money overall, but they don't want to commit it early in case something else comes along during the funding period they might want more. Or they're simply wrestling with themselves about if they'll actually pull the trigger.
Then there are the folks who wait just to see if it's likely to fund because, for whatever reason, they can't grasp why them waiting is making it less likely to fund in the first place.
Even if this plays out like a soap opera, I wonder if this is a marketing ploy to keep people on the edge of their seats
And to give them ulcers.
1k in about 5 hours seems very doable. I have zero interest in this but i backed it anyways, contrary to popular belief if you sell early you make good money on all haslabs.
1000 backers in the last 5 hours should be doabie... that's still an average of 200 per hour. Do we really think there are droves of people waiting until literally the last hour to pledge though? Who are those people? Drama queens? Savior complexes?
Procrastinators.
And they're gonna owe me for the doctor visits.
As we inch closer to the deadline, I find myself less ambivalent and more invested. I think part of my apathetic view was a defense mechanism to allay any disappointment in the case it didn't fund. Anyway, we're Very close to 9K now. I've got a good feeling about it.
Agreed. The fallout from the last Haslab, which I wanted greatly (due to Mephisto and Hellstrom), left me a little annoyed with the process. I also believe my disappointment from the EoV may have influenced my feelings of indifference for this lab. All that said, I’m sitting here in this near eleventh hour getting excited that this is actually going to happen and laughing at myself.
Under 900 to go! Everyone prepare your collections for Giant Man!!!
I wish the HasLab could detach at the waist like that so he could more easily fit on shelves. Don't necessarily always need his long legs eating up all the space.
Or, it would be funny to have him look like he busted through the shelf.
Did we have people sign up for this site just to give us constant updates on this Haslab?
Ooh... it's paced itself to less than 200/hour needed. It's down to about 190 per hour, so that looks like momentum
