I'm not thrilled about the execution of the Haslab, mainly the size is too big for my tastes. But I did decide to back one to help out the group. It's not a lot of money to me and I can keep it in the closet and occasionally set it up on a table.
I agree about the height, but I convinced myself I can display Hank kneeling/crouched over holding up the ceiling (aka the shelf) above him while the remaining Avengers lead the fight around him... so I figure in that pose he might be 18" or less, so easier to display and not taking away from Galactus or making the rest of the Avengers seem like afterthoughts in the display...
It has been confirmed by the ML team that all the Pulse sites should be the same and counting in real time. There shouldn't be a discrepancy between them. So no there isn't 15,000+ backers.
I'm at the Singapore Pulse page right now and the tally is 7829. Same with Malaysia and Taiwan.
There are still at least 8k people sitting on the fence waiting to see if this will actually fund. Can't explain the mentality. But they are there. As this starts to trickle over 9k backers, I think they'll start coming out of the woodwork.
A vast majority of HasLab backers, at least for Legends... are just sitting until the end. Maybe it's FOMO, maybe they think they are "punishing" Hasbro for some objective slight by waiting until the end. That last minute crew... there are a bunch of them, though.

The image Hasbro included in the last blast email is really nice: physical prototypes always blow away a render. The harness should have been straightened, though. 🙂

The past few weeks I've gone from passing on this guy, to backing him out of principle, to now being incredibly anxious he won't pass the finish line. Getting really nervous as we get closer to midnight EST.

A little while ago I noticed on the US, UK and Europe Pulse sites the number was 8,444. Hong Kong, Malasia and Singapore all had 7,451. Add them up and we're over the goal. Is this just wishful thinking or some fugazy accounting?
Those aren't separate totals for each region - those are all the same running total with the Asian total just not having updated - since it's still only like 6 am in Hong Kong right now.
