I'd like to back this, but payday isn't until Friday.
it's now at 8,024
I already have the ToyBiz figure. It's going to take some rearranging of the shelves to make room for the new one. And if it doesn't get funded it would 200 hundred dollars saved. It really wouldn't be the end of the universe if we don't get it.
On the other hand, I'd love to have this figure. It's a cool looking toy, it's got that Silver Age 60's Marvel vibe, it'll go great with the first appearance Wasp and it'll look awesome in an Avengers display (After I make room). So I hope it makes it.
But the reason I REALLY hope this guy gets funded is for Ryan, Dwight and Dan. If you've ever interacted with them in person at a convention or event you know what nice guys they are. They really do love their jobs, love Marvel and care about the fans. If we don't cross the finish line I hope the higher ups at Hasbro don't do anything stupid.
But, you know, it's the higher ups at Hasbro. It's best not to take anything for granted.
C'mon, Hank. You can do it.
I think when it came to the EOV and the tiers, for me personally, part of the problem I had was the push by the ML team that these figures could never be released any other way. That it was this, or nothing. I have mentioned before during the EOV thread that I didn't really believe that, and that giving your customers an "ultimatum" isn't the best way to go to encourage purchase.
Then of course the price. $50 more for a vehicle and figures when the HISS was right before it? Not a good look.
Anyway enough beating that dead horse (by now it is more like beating the shoes of a dead horse as that is all that is left of the dead horse).
8,050 right now, so it has picked up the pace a bit, but still not enough.
Go, go, Giant-Man!!
If 1/4 of the backers add an extra preorder we reach the goal. At the last hour just go all in . It’s worth the shot
This time next year hopefully we won’t be in this shitty economic slump
Oddly enough, the Marvel Legends pages I follow on Facebook have been unusually quiet today.
Two Giant Men are the cost of Galactus. Sell your extra one next year for $400 on eBay … it pays for both
if you don’t risk you don’t get the reward
10 000 Giant Men better investment than 30 000 Galactus or any other Haslab

This is kind of where I'm at too. I wasn't even planning on backing at first because of the size, but I regretted missing out on Galactus. so I backed GM last week. I admit there is a part of me that wants it to succeed, but personally, I'm not really affected that much either way.
I want it to succeed b/c it looks really cool. Same reason I buy any action figure. I can figure out the rest later. Isn't exactly rocket science.
