Most of these have had 2k-5k backers added in the last 24 hours. I thought for sure this would fund. I backed within the first minutes. I am going to be saddened when/if this doesn't make it.
That extra 3K is coming any second, right? Right?!
I'm not surprised. This is part of the process of showing disapproval of their insane price hikes.
By boycotting something very reasonably priced?
Do you think we'll see a hail mary by the Hasbro team?
Do you think we'll see a hail mary by the Hasbro team?
Other than a ‘last chance’ email today, no, I don’t think any other pushes will happen at this point.
@beamish doubt it, less than 24 hours, if they did that on Friday, I think they would've
If Giant-Man fails, I honestly can’t see me coming back to a HasLab again. Barring some kind of team set I want, or a campaign where they lock a desired figure behind a tier, there’s really no other character I have a burning desire to spend this kind of money on. Maybe a Simonson Surtur, but I don’t see that happening.
Like it or not, I think part of the reason this campaign failed was because they did not include desired figures locked behind tiers. As was stated above fans can be petty. We want to be able to have that exclusive figure that nobody else has so that we can wave it in front of everybody’s face. I hate that as much as the next guy, but it seems like this may be an example of that practice being a necessity to these campaigns.
If this doesn’t fund it will really, really suck. I don’t have a classic Giant-Man, if this fails I likely won’t ever have one, I’m not paying the same or more for an outdated one I don’t even particularly like. If that is anyone’s backup plan, do it now, if this fails the old BAF is going to skyrocket in price.
Was hoping to see this a lot closer by now, if this fails they need to offer it some other way, even a scale down retail release with swap hands would be sufficient.
Talking about all the percentages and factors etc, has anyone analyzed the yearly totals of haslabs together? Like Joe, star wars and Marvel? I feel like have them all back to back is having a huge effect on people wallets, especially always happening in the fall. Like when the rancor failed, was the following campaign more successful? Being that the GI joe and star wars ones this year were so good maybe people just don't have the appetite and dollars for this one? Maybe a bit more time between campaigns and themes would help

I really don't want this big of a Giant Man, but just backed anyway. Hope it happens, especially for those who really want it...
