I ordered mine during the recent GameStop sale which was listed as a pre-order, but he was delivered about a week after that. Hopefully yours and your son's will arrive soon! He's a great figure.
I ordered mine from BBTS as soon as the pre-order went live and it's been sitting in my Pile of Loot since August 1st. I'm waiting on a few more things to come it before I have it all shipped out, though.
Same as @beamish - ordered from GameStop and received him shortly thereafter. Still waiting for the Deadpool that I ordered at the same time, however.

Got mine from Deep Discount less than a week ago! It had a 7/31 release date.
BBTS sent me a notice that they were having difficulty charging my card. I went in and changed cards to one with a lower balance, but they still canceled it.
I canceled my pre-order from BBTS and bought it from Gamestop. Got it close to two weeks ago.
Ordered from BBTS on April 30th, still says arriving in September. If I see it in the wild I will cancel my order.
Received mine from Hasbro Pulse about two weeks ago now, I believe.
Yeah, he came in a few weeks ago. Extra copy as well, from another source. I’d have to do some tracking down of receipts, but it think Amazon and BBTS.
...and just like that, I have summoned it into existence. BBTS says it's sitting in my PoL now.
