...Just received mine Monday, along with the Retro-Card Dr. Doom I managed to snag from Gamestop! It's a decent set, and the Iron Man is a worthy and definite upgrade, with the new torso and paint, but I got the set mainly for the sake of having a Mandarin for my villains... And I am of course totally aware that this is a recent look, and the young and old heads/claw-hands cover a couple of his recent story-arcs, but have to wonder why they didn't do the animated version or even the blue and silver "Acts of Vengeance " armor first? Reuse, I suppose. But having open ring-hands at least would have been cool!!
They have to release more versions of Mandarin in the future, release the 90s animated Mandarin in the Iron Man Retro card, and the green robe Mandarin in a Bring on the Bad Guys wave.

You and me both. This is my preferred look. I can live with some version of his animated appearance, but he looked fantastic in Acts of Vengeance.
