I will say this for Goliath. Cool looking figure, though I have no connection to What If or care. I put him on my villain shelf next to Ghost. Don't care if he is a variant lol.

Gamora stands like garbage. Talos is a boring figure. I have him with the Skrull parts on cause he looks less boring that way. More excited for the next wave tomorrow

I got Yelena, Kingpin, and Agatha today. Yelena is my least favorite of the 3. While I'm happy to see her get a second figure so soon, I feel Hasbro didn't really knock this out of the park. The face scan is good I'll admit that and holding her next to her previous figure, it is an improvement. But her proportions are still off, probably because they reused a lot of parts from her first figure. She's still too lanky and tall. Also, the ponytail is cool but from the front you cant see it so she could have used a few fly aways to help soften her face a little better. They put them on What if Steve instead lol. I'm assuming she'll get another figure for Thunderbolts so we'll see if she gets an all new body then.

Kingpin is pretty cool to have. He uses mostly Happy's body but there's just something pretty cool about finally owning an MCU Kingpin. The head sculpt is spot on too. I'm sure we will be seeing him in the line again sooner rather than later.

Agatha Harkness takes the cake and likely wins the entire wave for me. Her figure excites me for so many reasons. She's Phase 4's first offical villian, and the first villian Hasbro skipped in a long time. She stole the show and is now going on to get her own show which if I'm thinking correctly has only happened for one other villian, being Loki. The figure itself is visual stunning. The way they sculpted the purple translucent robes with the big wavy hair. She looks awesome and such a break from the usual boots, leather, and armor. As a WandaVision fan it is so cool to see her on a flight stand against Wanda! Just give us Darcy and we can call this a wrap!

I'll be getting Talos and Fury next week and I'm excited to be pleasantly surprised by them.

I never would have thought this 2 years ago but this Disney Plus line has really become my most anticipated line! I can't wait to see who's in the next wave!

The D+ waves are done in a way I wish they would do for the Infinity Saga and movies in general.

Cracked open most of the wave today, still waiting on Nick and Fisk.

- Talos. This feels like a gift to fans who love Ben... if you don't love him, definitely not an exciting figure, but I dig it. the civilian body is such a jump in quality from the older suit bodies. I also really, really didn't like the head connected to the neck at first but it doesn't impinge on ROM at all and I like it better than those figures I have where I have to line up a swappable neck peg with the head and never get it right.

- Agatha's gorgeous. I always wish figures with lower body robes/dresses were less limited in movement but they really did a great job with her.

- Yelena - beautiful head sculpt/scan. They seem really afraid to give Scarlet and Florence the short/solid frames they have in real life for some reason, and this buck's really gummy (her leg popped right off on me, though it popped right back on, too. Doesn't happen often with legends for me.) The details on the body are really sharp though.

- I had minimal interest in Goliath or Gamora but those two feel the most toyetic of the bunch so far - they're fun to move and pose. I swear it's always the figures I look forward to the least in a wave I end up messing with the most. Shocked they have no swappable hands, though, seems like they skimped a bit on that.

I really want to throw Skinny Steve's head on a civilian buck. Anyone know of a body that has a longer neck? He's got that problem a lot of Tony heads have - his head fits on the most standard ball joint, but sits really low so it looks like he has no neck. I remember there being a body that worked for these bodies a long time ago but can't remember who it was.

I wonder if this wave will see any one offs? Store exclusive Darcy, maybe Ravonna or B15 from Loki one in time for Loki 2's air date. Maybe a deluxe Abomination? Titania? WbN?

Also, I wonder when wave 6 will leak. I could see February being a good release date for it. If the writer's strike doesn't delay anything any longer the wave could cover Loki 2 (Oct), What if 2 (Dec, eye roll), and Echo (Jan). Unless Daredevil or Iron Heart get put back on the board that's it until Agatha in Oct 24. So Hasbro could really have time to make wave 7 a catch up wave. I'm excited to see how it all shakes out. This has definitely become my favorite series!

I'm very surprised we've heard nothing about Loki S2 products. Maybe HWR and Classic Loki's immediate clearance put a hold on it?

I'm patiently not buying the Funko Renslayer just to harvest Miss Minutes.

Got Agatha and Yelena - Agatha is fantastic. I'm curious why she got the neck joint with the cuts in it instead of the solid tube/ball joint combo so many others are getting nowadays - did they want one very visible piece of articulation? Her arms are harder to pose than I expected.

But she looks fantastic in the spot I've had reserved for her for months!!

?w=640&ssl=1

Yelena I immediately pulled in half because those long legs are ridiculous. I had this lower half lying around forever and BOOM. Need to secure her upper torso correctly, but SO MUCH better. And she needs hair wisps in front.

Pulse just sent notice this morning that they’re getting ready to charge for this wave. Didn’t realize they were already in stock at Amazon.

I think Ronin and the Tracksuits are our D+ exclusives for the year. So I don't expect anymore. I am so curious to see next wave though. I would imagine we will get at least 2 Loki based figures and Echo next wave. Beyond that? No idea. Sadly I think we ain't getting Abomination. Seems like more often than not, What If is where our Bafs are coming from. I certainly have my preferences. Feels like our Year 1 D+ shows are at this point well represented for the most part. I would like to see Darcy and Karli and a few others, but not a ton of truly essential characters left. Several I would buy, but not so many absolute cannotnlive withouts. Ravonna I think has a great shot at being one of our Loki figures. I feel like maybe we will start seeing make ups from the Year 2 shows, MK, Ms. Marvel, and She-Hulk. I can easily see Scarlet Scarab, Arthur Harrow, Leap Frog, and Yellow Daredevil being candidates for one of the next 2 waves. We probably can expect 1 or 2 easy What If repaints. Come to think of it, Party Thor and Black Widow from the finale gotta be contenders as well, given that Guardians of the Multiverse team isn't done yet.

So given all my word salad, I guess my expectation for next wave considering they gotta balance new shows, old shows, and reuse would be something like:

New Loki

Ravonna Renslayer (easy reuse potential from Peggy WWII figure)

Echo

Party Thor

Black Widow What If

Daredevil (She-Hulk)

Scarlet Scarab

Most Likely BAF - Something What If based...Maybe The Collector from the T'Challa episode? I would have gone with the Sakaar Stark, but that might be too big for a BAF. Might have to be a deluxe. If not What If based, my money would be on Gravik. Though I would strongly prefer Abomination. This is just me guessing, though. Bottom line is I cannot wait for next wave! These are my favorite waves currently!

Only gotten around to opening Agatha so far, and I agree with all the love. She's a great figure, and the lack of lower movement doesn't really bother me that much. She's not as much a brick as some other figures, and the way they did her robes implies movement, so she looks good in pretty much any pose. I'm sure we'll get another whenever her show comes out, but I'm happy for this one. She stole the show, and the wave for me.

For the next waves, I'd say Echo is a lock, since she's getting her own show. Sure, it was delayed, but she's the most notable omission from Hawkeye at this point, and delays only usually mean we get the figure sooner than the show/movie itself.

Scarlet Scarab, Arthur Harrow, Daredevil are my biggest wants. After that, Renslayer, Karli, Darci, and, while it will never happen, a Madisynn. Leap Frog would be fun too, but worse comes to worse, I'm fine fudging in the comic version. I guess I'd take a human form Jennifer too.

I'd take a Gaia and Gravik if they ever got made; I'm sure at least Gaia will, since it seems like they could easily re-use some parts for her.

I feel bad leaving Ms. Marvel out completely, but there really weren't any characters I'd say I absolutely need. Maybe Bruno? Guess it depends on who returns in future projects and who makes a good impression.

From What If, I'm kinda ambivalent. Other than maybe one or two figures, I wouldn't say I really need or have been wowed by any of them. I'm glad to have them, sure, but they've mostly been a means to an end for the BAF. I guess I'd take Kahhori. I know her episode hasn't aired yet and nobody knows anything about her, but I like her design.

I dont really want or need What If figures at all. If it were up to me, I would be doing mixed live action waves and an occasional What If only wave when new content is due for it.  But that's not the format we have seen, so I have to assume we're usually getting at least 1 or 2 What If figures based on pattern. I agree on Ms Marvel. Red Dagger I could see being made, but other than that I don't see any other Ms Marvel figures based on the show coming. Gaia I think will get made eventually also. But not sure that will be next wave. But I wouldn't be shocked if in the list I made, Scarlet Scarab for example wasn't made but Gaia was. But her and Gravik would be it I can see for Secret Invasion down the line. MK and She-Hulk I think we will see more figures from.

I also cannot write off Werewolf by Night figures being made, but I would almost prefer a Man-Thing and Wereworlf by Night 2 pack as opposed to them being in the wave. Prob could just reissue the old BAF Man-Thing and repaint it for that 2 pack idea.

I knew I was forgetting something! I'd love a figure or 2 from WBN, but I agree- a 2 pack is probably the way to go. My only reserve is I'm sure the characters will appear in the MCU in the future in full color and they'll release/re-release the figure there too. Not sure if I'd prefer a black and white version from the (quite enjoyable) one-off, or wait for the inevitable color release.

I'd love a Werewolf By Night figure. I gotta imagine it's one that isn't high up on their radar but that's an insta-buy for me.

I'm digging the What If figures but aside from Captain Carter and Heartless Strange most don't vary enough for me to desperately want - I'll buy 'em if they make 'em though. I think robo-armed Clint would be top of my list, really.

Secret Invasion felt like a show nobody talked about (comparatively) so I don't see them doing a ton of figures from it, but I can't imagine you hire Emilia Clarke and don't make an action figure of her. It'd be amazing to have an Olivia Coleman figure too but they so rarely do civilians. (Abomination in his human/prison garb too - another time I really just want a figure of the actor but don't necessarily think the character warrants it.)

Speaking of, I swear if they made Madisynn I'd set her up with Wong on the display shelf and never put either in storage. One of those absolutely stupid ideas that I never stopped laughing at the entire series.

It's just so sad that the comedic highlight of a lawyer show comedy was a one-off supporting character accidentally stealing the entire series. And I liked a lot of that show. Really hope we get more.

Speaking of Emilia Clarke - my post a few above with the photo took awhile to get posted - did anyone see what I did to Yelena to make her shorter? Those are Q'ira legs from The Black Series.
