Those hands are ridiculous. They look like they belong to another figure.
I've been saying that since Vulcan came out and everyone ignored me. 🤐
Is Angel back in this outfit in the books? He's wearing it on the marketing materials that came out today.
Maybe they're a pre-tool for an upcoming classic Mimic or human Beast. 😆
I just noticed how the white paint apps on his upper chest curve from the Halo out to the shoulders when it should be solid and continue up the front of his neck. Not a fan of the choice they made here at all.
I see artwork online both ways on the neck having white or not, but agree I'd probably prefer it with the white. Still, not a deal breaker.
The blonde hair being so yellow is a little distracting as well, wish that was a bit more muted.
Pulse updated the expected ship dates to 3/18/24 on my orders for Broodverine/Lilandra, Cowboy Logan/Sabretooth, Patch/Lady Mandarin, Patch/Mr Fixit, and Deluxe Angel.
Holy hell.... that's like $300+ in one go.
Honestly, that's a thing that annoys me a bit with Hasbro - they reveal things weeks apart but then release everything all at once in one big dump that eviscerates the wallet. I ordered the Madripoor 2-packs (Mr. Fixit and Lady Mandarin) from Amazon which still show an April 2 ship date, as does the Angel figure I ordered there.
My order on Pulse for Broodverine/Lilandra still says May 1 - with the Angel I ordered on that same order saying April 1. Of course, that doesn't mean that much because my order page for the VAMP vehicle I ordered still says May 1st and I just got a "processing soon" e-mail on that one. So
@panthercult Hasbro spreading out the preorder dates does nothing to help anyone's wallet in the long run. They pretend that they have heard the fans complaints about too much product hitting at once. Yet, everything seems to hit all at once regardless of estimated preorder date. What a sham.
Hey, they probably saved $5 on a combined shipping container for ALL their April product.
Tell me you don't understand foreign manufacturing and / or shipping containers without telling me you don't understand etc...
Here's the thing - it's not that I don't understand how shipping containers work - but they have warehouses right?
They should know how customers wallets work too - it's much easier to absorb $100 a month for 4 months in a row than $400 all at once - it just is, no matter how well you budget or plan. Especially if you budget using their originally estimated ship dates that they then erase and ship early.
It won't break me or send me to the poorhouse or anything. I just wish it wasn't totally feast or famine with their releases.
I would point out that the Legends team said on a livestream that they were intentionally spreading out POs specifically to address customer's concerns about product hitting all at once. Now tell me who doesn't understand foreign manufacturing and shipping containers.......?
That's why I preorder significantly less than I used to, other than things I REALLY want. It's rare these days for something to sell out, and product often goes on sale shortly after release.
But even without the lure of a discount I just like getting it when I want and not whenever it might randomly ship (especially if I might be out of town). I'll probably get several of the Wolverine 2 packs but didn't preorder any of them. They can wait.
The Sabertooth one is a must for me. He looks awesome. But the rest I will get on sale. I preorder what I don't wanna miss. If I can live without jt, I don't preorder and hope for a sale. Unless its super expensive, then I wait anyway lol. It's weird, Psylcoke is probably my fave XGirl, but I really don't care much about that 2 pack. I'll get it if I see it on sale. Maybe cause of the other figure? I unno, just doesn't excite me.
