Got Colossus yesterday (thanks BBTS) and put him on my lil makeshift multiverse shelf. Really solid figure.

Can you show a closer-up pic of your Elektra custom? I bought that head but I still have it sitting on a Domino body until/if I get around to it. :/

Out of nowhere, Colossus is arriving tomorrow. Not complaining but this week's been an onslaught of arrivals. Deadpool and both Logans are supposed to arrive on Monday, too.

@ctv for Laura, how? I would like a recipe for her, just in case Hasbro doesn't make one, which would be leaving money on the table lol.

Deadpool feels short and his head feels fat.

I think his chin needs to be reshaped since he does not have a lantern jaw. But he definitely feels slight. Ryan is lanky, but he doesn't scale right next to Logan.

Anyone planning to swap Wolverine's arms is going to be disappointed because the shoulder pads are glued onto a yellow peg into his shoulder. They aren't free-floating like usual.

And both figures are super smooth articulation-wise but also feel slightly gummy - like, it's a very pliable solid plastic.

Colossus also arrived and has one leg permanently bent at the thigh cut.

As the reviews are coming in - I'm really excited for these figures, but considering this is the only MCU release for the year - I hope they don't use the sculptor/modeler who did these again. Both figures have this streamlined look that removes the material wrinkling completely, leaving both DP and Wolverine looking too thin and the suits too spandexy. This is most evident on the legs for both. Whoever did the first Deadpool figure really nailed it.

It's a shame, because I am really excited for the inevitable sleeveless Wolverine - but that sculpt should have been a home run. It's pretty underwhelming.

I feel like these digital sculpts are almost exactly pulled from the 3D renders from the computers and need to be finessed a bit to look less character-model-ly.

But, also, they are too short.

Do you really think we'll get a shirtless Wolverine? I was just thinking about getting an extra Hercules and ripping him to shreds to create that look.

Umm, i watched the review i think that was posted on here a bit ago, and this Deadpool has almost the exact purportions and detailing the last movie one did. There are some minor differences, like sculpting wise, so it's not complete reuse, but it is almost identical in body size and suit texture. It's just the colors make the details harder to see. I think DPs arms are maybe a tad thinner. But the head looks the same, and everything else is almost identical size wise. The review even said with a light wash or some weathering the figures would be damn near perfect. And I have to agree, at least from what I've seen. Mine are in my PoL waiting for Colossus and plain clothes Logan, so I don't have them in hand yet. But I may try to do a bit of a light black wash to them, to bring out the details and make Wolverine look less like a banana lol.

Also, I think he meant sleeveless Wolverine, which will probably happen. I dunno about shirtless.

Well, as expert an opinion as "I watched a review" is, maybe you should be less dismissive of people who are making up their own minds with product in hand?

The old DP is also short. They are very similar - to their detriment, because the flaws of the original are still present. But his head is definitely a different, incorrect shape.

I see the poster edited the post from "shirtless" to "sleeveless" but didn't mention the edit.

Did he? ... It said 'sleeveless' when I read it earlier. He's always on about the sleeveless version. It's his thing!

The sooner Hugh Hackman Wolverine gets here, the happier my wife will be.

You've never seen anyone get so thoroughly unimpressed as her when you start talking about getting more than one version of the same character, but watch how fast she changes her tune if we end up getting a sleeveless OR shirtless version.
