@tenime I feel and felt exactly the same way about Jackman as you.
Like you said, I loved that they did the short version though it convinced me I don't want that figure heh. And while I wasn't much of a fan of him as Wolverine this whole time, something about this movie REALLY gave me a new appreciation for him in the role at least.
I think all I really want anymore of the brown suit.
Loved the movie. I would probably buy all the Wolverine figures they would care to release. Unlike some others, I loved Jackman as Wolverine. Although he was too tall.
I think he did a fine job really, but like I said above, I came to appreciate him a lot more on this movie. The height was a big deal to me all alone, though now I think I'm finally over it actually. I think at the time the first movie came out, I was ready for something other than what they did, but I did appreciate how they tried to do it in 'the real world', and not quite so fantastic. I guess I wish they'd leaned into the fantastic aspects sooner, along with the costumes. I also never got into the cartoon, and still can't apparently since I did try 97 after so many ravings about it. Eh, I dunno. The movies were fine and so was Jackman I guess.
And it's funny how he spends most of the movie maskless, but after he finally put the mask on... he now looks funny to me without it.
I just saw the movie last night. Epic. I loved all of it. Give me a bunch of figures. I will buy them.
So - during SDCC when the figures were revealed, I think it was Dan who said that Deadpool's knees would actually be altered to match the final costume in the film. What are the odds that this is actually the case given that we've already seen production versions of this wave?
I bought these from Gridiron Studios for DP when he comes out cause it looks like he has the regular guns. They're not bad. A little pricey for what you get, but they're ok.

Bright colors just look like another opportunity to release a muted color variant later. It's a solid strategy.
Bbts told me these are coming soon. I was planning for December, so while that's cool and all, I literally just shipped my pol today. And then they send me emails for these releasing. LOL never fails. Hopefully colossus actually holds off for a bit cause with all the shit that came out this month I'm starting to get more broke then usual.
Got Colossus yesterday (thanks BBTS) and put him on my lil makeshift multiverse shelf. Really solid figure.

Amazon says my Wolvie and Colossus should ship this week. Still. tempted to snag a new Deadpool, but I think I'll wait to see what the inevitable 2nd wave brings. Really want that Headpool, but don't want or need another plainclothes Logan. Alas. Still, super stoked to have these; gonna be another pricey week with these and the Outriders supposedly shipping, but I'll take it!
