My vote is for Armor! Maybe Box for Alpha Flight.

I'd also love some kind of representation of Krakoa, maybe a big tree with the face on it?? However, an exclusive deluxe with the Krakoa tree and Cypher might be a actually be a better way to get both of those rather than a BAF. They could include a portal also by using some variation of what came with the multiverse Dr. Strange and Zero box set figures. This could end up being a very nice little playset if they did it well. I could see myself paying $70 for that if they did it right.

I understand the desire for Dragon Man and Lockjaw but I just can't imagine Hasbro even coming close to doing as good of a job as the versions of those figures we already have from Toy Biz and Mezco, respectively. It also wouldn't surprise me if Hasbro wanted to charge more for their versions than what the older versions go for on the secondary market.

@stephenwdavis OK, maybe Hasbro can't top Toy Biz Dragon Man, but they can certainly do an amazing job with Lockjaw, if their Gi Joe Classified animals and the panther from the Dungeons and Dragons set are any indication. Mojo and MODOK were also improvements in my book, so I still think they'd do a great take on Dragon Man.

LOL....  really -  you maybe haven't checked the secondary market on these recently?    Mezco Lockjaw?   The one that was part of a two pack that retailed for like $150?   I think Hasbro can absolutely produce a quality Lockjaw that costs substantially less than that.    I really was interested in the Lockjaw but I HATE the Mezco 1:12 figures and would have tried to offload that Black Bolt as fast as possible, though the market probably would have been soft so Lockjaw would have ended up costing me $100.   Of course that still beats the $130 price I'd have to pay for one with a broken antenna and paint rub on the face on ebay...

So Hasbro could make that a BAF figure in a wave and I'd pay  $150 for Lockjaw PLUS 6 figures -  way better than $170 for Lockjaw alone.

And don't get me started on the Dragon Man...   Sure the Toy Biz Dragon Man is great -  for those who were able to get it at retail.    The secondary market prices on that figure are INSANE - so if that wave of FF didn't make it to a retailer near you -  which was the boat I was in - or if you joined Legends later than 2006 then you have to pay $500 or more for that beauty.    So who cares if Hasbro's is better than Toy Biz as long as it's actually available at retail price.

Either one of those would be HUGELY welcome as BAF #100

Yea it would still be great if ML made Lockjaw. Once we saw MODOK, I began to hope we would see that pup released in the same format, with an alternate head or faceplate. Packed up with Crystal would surely draw in a even larger crowd. But yea…. Lockjaw in Legends, please!

As for Dragon Man, the toybiz one *looks* great but I believe Hasbro could certainly top it. He has no articulation on his torso + no ankle pivot + wings & tail do pretty much nothing so it always felt real limited in what I could do with him, and that made him not very fun imo.

ToyBiz Dragon Man was beautiful, but he was also way too small. Dragon Man is a 15' character, so even a BAF wouldn't do him justice.

For the guessing, I think my Spidey-Sense is telling me that the rumored wave with Jack O'Lantern may be revealed next, so I'd expect something like a Stegron or Spider-Slayer with that. Which would be #98.

I am not holding my breath for Hasbro to actually acknowledge the 100th BAF in any meaningful way, but the ones I'd consider a "win" would be:

Comic Attuma (long overdue), Lockjaw (fan demand), Comic Watcher (he kinda spans the whole MU), Eternity (in honor of the longevity of the line), Champion of the Universe (just because I like him)

It really ought to be a figure of Jack Kirby though.

BAF #100 will be MCU Harrison Ford's Red Hulk for Thunderbolts.

I think the timing might actually line up for this, or it would be #101. Depends on how many BAF waves we get next year.

Personally, I'd love to see a Skurge/Executioner BAF. There are several parts that wouldn't require new tooling, so I think it might be plausible as a BAF in the near future. Here's hoping, at least.

Your keyboard to Hasbro's ears, man. VERY much needed.

I don’t see Hasbro doing Dragon Man as a BAF, though I hope they get around to him (I got the F4 Classics from Toywiz back in the day for retail price along with that whole second wave and it’s past time for a redo)

some great suggestions though

So the Spider-Man wave announcement came and went, and lo and behold it was another retro wave. So there went one of my guesses.

BAFs #98-99-100 are still on-deck.

Rumors have at least an Avengers wave coming, which may be BAF-fy. I'm calling Classic Attuma as one of the three. And given the insane fan demand for Lockjaw, I'm liking him as BAF #100, although I think the poetry of Eternity as a selection would be mo betta. Maybe there could be a 616 Watcher in there too.

On another topic, I'm excited for the Mindless Ones, but a bit more irked than usual that I won't be able to easily army build these guys. At least, yet.

My list is getting very small these days. I'm pretty content. The only BAF-sized, or even near-BAF sized figures I'd want are classic versions of Mimic, Attuma, Gladiator (Melvin Potter), a Dreadnought, 616 Watcher, Stegron and maybe Mister Hyde.

For what it's worth, Rektangular said that he was expecting both the Spider-Man retro card wave and a Spider-Man BAF wave in 2024 -- so I'd say that's still on the table for #100.

It's pretty likely that the Captain America MCU wave BAF will fall somewhere in that 98-99-100 range also... but I'm not sold that is actually going to be Red Hulk. We'll get Red Hulk of course, but it might actually be as a deluxe.

I'd like to see Hasbro tackle Dragon Man at some point.  Like people have said, he's supposed to be something like 15' tall, so a BAF likely wouldn't do him complete justice.  But oversized characters have their height reduced to become BAF (Sasquatch and Cho'd come to mind).   I think Dragon Man wouldn't be a bad Haslab to be honest.   Yes, he's much shorter than Giant Man, but he has wings and a tail which would require a bit of engineering.   Regarding him potentially being a BAF, he did fight Captain America in the 80s.

I don't think the Mezco Lockjaw looked that great.  Yes, it looked like a bulldog, but Lockjawk in the comics, at least his early appearances, had a more pronounced mustache.  Mezco just colored his jowls to look like a mustache.   I think a Marvel Legends Lockjaw is an inevitability.   I didn't think ML would make a Destroyer as good as MS, but they did.  So I have complete faith in a great ML Lockjaw in the future.

?w=502&ssl=1

Attuma and Skurge would also make great BAFs.  Although I think Skurge may not need to be a BAF.  He is often drawn as being thicker than what we typically get for figures, so I can see a BAF being the right format for him.  But a little more slender version may also work as a single release.

I can't remember the last time we had a BAF in-hand without knowing the next one that was coming. They seem to really be slowing down on BAF waves.

I'd still hope/expect BAF 100 to land this year though.

Why would they bother making more BAFs now that they know they can release a BAF sized figure and sell one for $35-75? Meanwhile charging $25 regular figures without including a BAF part?
