@andru That's not usually the case when it comes to FedEx for me. Usually stuff moves efficiently. This one has lingered a lot, in multiple locations. I did get an update that it was on the vehicle for delivery, so fingers crossed. I'm really looking forward to this figure.
I got mine yesterday but unfortunately there are major paint chippings on the chest and torso. I ordered a second to hopefully get one with better paint application, and it already shipped.
My Barnes arrived. I have to admit, I hated being vocal about the slowness of this delivery, as I hate sounding like an impatient collector. But I felt like vocalizing it would karmically push the package along. Anyway, the figure looks.. ok. I think it got overhyped for me. I thought the metallic finish was painted, but mine looks like it's just the color of the swirly plastic. Even the shield is molded in swirly metallic red. He is also massive. I had him standing next to MCU Luke Cage and Extremis, and he's the same height. That ain't right. Also, I never cared for the seams left in the forearms due to the Vulcan glove sculpt, but the right forearm looks to be separating. It's not just a sculpted seam, it looks like two separate pieces, with no articulation. I guess that's for characters like Black Panther who have a different colored glove? Anyway, it doesn't look great. I'm not keen on the pistol that was included, I would have preferred the same kind of pistol the original came with. So this one is a mixed bag for me. I'm glad to have an upgraded, pinless version, but I strangely might still prefer the original! If only he had a bigger head.

I hate it and I will never forgive them for being this lazy. They've really gotta fix that for this sculpt if they're going to keep re-using it.Β

Interesting observations, @normdapito - I definitely noticed the swirly plastic on the shield. Not a great look, IMO. Otherwise I was happy enough with him, but I wasn't a huge fan of this iteration of Bucky/Cap, so I'm easy to please.
Β
Edit- I do wish he had better ROM with the neck/head. I kind of miss the disc joint on this one.Β
@akajomiha I havenβt played around with the ball/socket neck, other than to check if it has a gap as bad as retro/RYV Spidey. No gap, so Iβm satisfied with that at least. Iβm definitely still miffed with how big he is. Too much scale creep these days.
LOL... so after canceling my pre-orders for the Wal Mart figures and reordering them in-stock -Β instead of shipping Fixit and BuckyCap together they shipped them separatelyΒ via separate companies.Β Β Both still say they should arrive here tomorrow but it's crazy they didn't ship together and didn't even use the same vendor to get them to me.
And here's part 3 of the comic series I worked on for work πΒ
"Only a team of Earth's Mightiest Heroes can defend the city from this ambush of villains! (Part 3 of 7)"

Amazing! You have the best job 😊Β

@beamish You reminded me how much I want a Melter. Here's hoping we'll get one before the end of the line.
I still think it would be awesome if someone like Stingray or Melter show up as red herrings in the next few pictures, and then end up as Fan Channel/Pulse exclusives.
Very much YES!

Even more fun anticipating the photos in this series knowing STG is the one shooting them.
I'd just like to say I'm happy to see the name "Stingray" bandied about on this thread.Β π
