The Wasp and Giant-Man two-pack looks really nice! Definitely an immediate preorder.
I still love Wasp’s black and gold costumes. And speaking of black and gold, I’d love a new Yellowjacket figure!
We are so deep into this line that it may be time for Hasbro to offer up characters in quasi artist-specific looks. They've already done it with FA Spider-Man and animated VHS and 97 X-Men, reselling the same characters twice over in the span of a little over one year. If you're going to resell Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, etc, it's probably time to go artist-specific.
This is something I've wanted for a while now. They kind of did it with the Alex Ross 80th figures too. I always felt that this would be the best way to handle evergreen characters. Imagine a Kirby Hulk or a Byrne Fantastic Four! I'll take a Romita Peter Parker too!
Ugh. I'm not interested in the first appearance Wasp, but it does promise that when they finally get to a version I want, she'll still have 4 wings (and I don't like it!)
Good head sculpt, though.
Edit: looking at more photos, it looks like you can choose 2 or 4 wings? I withdraw my bitching.
They were aware people would want the option - Dwight highlighted that you could choose 2 or 4 wings in the video!
I also love that yellow/black costume she wore in Under Siege. And the blue with one exposed leg. And the modern black/gold. Lots of mileage they could get out of more Jan figures!
I also really, REALLY want Nadia. Now that we have FA Jan on the way this is my most wanted Wasp.
For Hank, Yellowjacket is clearly the most important thing they should get to next. But, against all odds, I've started to really want them to get to this look:
It seems unlikely we'll ever get this costume as a big figure given how infrequently they're made, but I'd love to see it.
I'm calling it now -
We didn't get a mini-size 1st appearance Wasp in the just revealed 2-pack and the classic Ant-Man last year didn't include a mini-size Ant-Man.
They are obviously missing.
Oh, where could they be? In a multi-figure pack, of course.

As a continuation of the Avengers Anniversary, I bet will be a multi-figure pack of this:
Avengers #1 Hulk with 3 toes, very Kirby-esque
Avengers #1 Iron Man, maybe a shiny vac gold to make it different than the Iron Man Retro figure just revealed.
Avengers #1 Thor very Kirby-esque
Mini-size classic Ant-Man and an ant or two he can ride
Mini-size classic Wasp
Very Kirby-esque classic Loki
I highly doubt it. At best it will be another two-pack. Classic Hulk and Thor. They've already released Iron Man. Same with Wasp, Ant-Man and Loki on a retro card. Plus another Loki figure is coming in a four-pack.
Maybe three years from now they will release a set like this, though.
So if you wanna recreate the cover of 1963's Avengers number one (And I do) then we're gonna NEEEEEEEED this Hulk.
Purple trunks, three toes, square "Frankenstein" like head, beetle brow, wide build and really about the same height as Thor and Iron Man. Not the behemoth he's depicted as today.
C'mon, Hasbro. I know you boys like to recreate covers. I remember that Jim Lee X-Men number one. Work that magic one more time.
I'm glad we're getting 1at appearance Wasp. Very, very glad.
But it's just interesting that, as I've complained about before:
-She was the only original member that wasn't represented in the actual anniversary year.
And now:
-We have to wait until, lord knows when, to get an updated miniature version of her that isn't the fugly archaic ToyBiz version.
Yeah... I don't mind at all the Giant Man outfit hank was sporting at the time. But what they did to Janet then was criminal. I refuse to acknowledge it and honestly think I would skip it if they decided to make a Legends figure, I hate it so much.
