Yeah. Might do a little mix and matching and play with some yellowing up of all the flame effects.

I wish I could, but I can’t settle with the dark red jolly rancher look that Torch has. He is a top fav character of mine and I need that classic red, opaque, comic version (ML2 update) yesterday.

You can give an easy red wash to cut the translucency down as much as you want. Really easy to do. Unfortunately hard to keep the lines on the classic ML one though doing that. Though not impossible

I personally couldn’t do that. It would bother me too much that the lines on the head are sculpted and the lines on the body are painted.

Couldn't you do a black wash on the head to fill in those lines? Or Gundam marker them? Obviously, I know you could.

Personally, it doesn't bother me enough to do that, but it's definitely an option for those that would want to.

I did it on mine. Doesn't make a HUGE difference but I think it looks better.

Does anyone else's Hawkeye have extreme problems standing? This dude has shelf-dived more than any other figure in recent memory. The front of his boots are a little rounded - is that the issue? Or is it maybe the fabric skirt creating a weird weight issue in his center of gravity?

I'm ready to throw the figure across the room because he keeps taking things down with him.

I also have this issue with the Puff Adder Captain America. I wanted to like that figure, but he's almost on the sale pile because he won't stay standing.

@schizm
Hawkeye has been standing firm for a couple months now. No problems with mine.

Random figures just have difficulty. 4 or 5 falls in week one and I break out the stand.

@schizm yup!

Mine's legs easily pull apart at the boot cut. Extremely soft plastic compared to other newer releases.

The Puff and 40th figures are all super gummy and rather poorly made when compared to other figures. No wonder they were able to clearance them out because the material cost was probably half compared to other waves

Now that we're finally getting Angel, I guess it's time for me to start campaigning for an updated Yellowjacket along with Wasp, Jack of Hearts, The Swordsman, Mantis and soooooo many other classic Avengers that still need to be made.
