Really happy with most of the figures from this line.

Skrulls came out nicely. I understand the reuse of Spider-Woman’s old arms for her web wing slots, but at least she got a new torso with a neck hinge? Not that it has much range. Love the Illuminati Skrull though I wish he came with one more head that didn’t have Black Bolt’s tuning fork on it. Would love to concoct more modern Secret Invasion Skrulls.

Iron Man is a great addition to the armory, but his helmet seems just a bit small. He does look good with the unmasked head from 80th anniversary Iron Man though.

Widow is easily among the best female figures from the entire line. She will make my top ten for sure.

Thor and Destroyer may be my favorite set from this line. Destroyer is so good. Masterson Thor himself is also very nice despite the painted flesh on the torso. And I love the unmasked bearded head, which I’ve used to upgrade an extra 80th Thor for a more Simonson look.

Banner and grey Hulk are solid. I like that Banner’s pinch grip can hold his eye glasses. I kinda still want another with white shirt and purple pants to match the previous green Hulks. Hulk himself is cool, I appreciate the new torso, but would have like to see him scaled down just slightly.

Rambeau and Doom are one of my least favorite sets, but still appreciated. Monica’s arms are too limited, a bicep swivel would have gone a long way if that’s what they were going to do with her wings. Doom is actually the highlight. He’s really sharp and I love the loose mask and Victor likeness.

Super Adaptoid is lame. The fact that I had to disassemble his arm just to get the shield on is annoying. The fin on his glove blocks the straps, so I had to pop the fist off, then the glove cuff off. Slide the wide strap around his forearm, wedge the cuff in between and plug in, then plug the fist through the narrow strap. Shield ain’t coming off now, not that it has anywhere else to go. 

Looking forward to Barnes Cap and Joe Fixit (provided Walmart doesn’t cancel my PO) and finding out if Vision is really coming with this line.

Tried resizing my photo.  Let’s see if this works. Super Adaptoid came out really fun. Huge and dynamic with that great articulation, especially in the torso and neck. 

Waited to open these until I had almost of them (minus Walmart Bucky Cap, which I’m sure will be a challenge to get).

These are easily the best anniversary figures Hasbro has done! Destroyer, Thor, Black Knight, and even Super Adaptoid are my favorites! 

I opened these all at once. It almost counted as work.

Dug my Alex Ross Captain America and Iron Man and my Retro White Vision out of storage to display with the new Hawkeye and the extra Skycycle I got, and they look glorious together. I'll post a pic at some point in the future, but right now they are posed behind a gaggle of new stuff I just got and I want the focus of the picture to be on the Captain America and The Avengers crew, and not Heihachi and Kazuya and Short Round. 

Hawkeye is just wonderful, though I would have liked it if he had a space in his quiver for the arrow. The Skycycle is absolutely a thing of beauty. The windshield might be the most clear translucent plastic in my whole toy collection. It takes to fingerprints hella easy though. 

One complaint, the Skycycle is loose as all hell on the stand, no matter which height I choose it's wobbling all over the place until I get it to balance just right. Might have to put some super glue or floor polish on the ball to give it some more friction.

I forgot Sersi/Black Knight are part of this wave. Probably because it’s a mostly forgettable set. Still makes me want Crystal in the matching bomber jacket and black and white uniform.

Love that Super-Adaptoid pic Akat! Despite missing some of the classic stylings I wish he had I'm excited to pick him up. Love the size.

Also - man I missed this place!

This picture is really well done.  You even make it subliminally better by positioning Wasp where it makes the Adaptoid figure look like it almost has the wings its supposed to.

Time to go back to this subject.  Eh.

So it appears they actually did "fix" one of the many glaring flaws on this mold, but none of the others?  Can anyone else see it?  Get ready,  they changed the tooled pieces for... the shoulder pauldrons.  So little that you really only notice subconciously, but ever since I first saw the reveal for this set it looked to me like if you squinted, they were wider.  And after seeing them out in the wild next to the Walgreens monstrosity, they appear to be almost certainly wider.  

Making this new figure, and that's all they fixed. Really, it's almost halfway to being visually aesthetically acceptable.  Widening the pauldrons and Just Slightly shrinking the head makes it look way better.  

That still leaves the Janky Head/neck peg design, the repulsor blast hands that don't have hinges (I HATE that there are like 7 figures with crippled hands that way. That limits posing SO much) ,the Chest piece being Thinner/smaller than the Model3/4 80th chest when it should be bigger and bulkier, and the backpack not being wide/big enough.

Maybe they will rerelease these new pauldrons with another incremental release of SS, with maybe one more of these issues fixed in the next couple years?  (or just the wider pauldrons and silver skin.  Whatever floats their boat. LOL.)     🤪  

(Pauldrons should still probably be wider)  🤣

Really loving the WCA Boxset. Tigra is a JUGE improvement. Spider-Woman is a pretty nice upgrade as well.

New figures of Mockingbird & Hank are quite nice too.
