Received my Hydra/Shield sets this week, though haven't had a chance to open them. The selling point is those new unmasked heads, so I look forward to seeing how they can be repurposed.

Let's use this thread for general army and troop building discussion.

Received the female sets - they’re great. Definitely going to use the ponytail blonde head as Sharon Carter and replace the hideous head of the original figure.

I hope now that we have the HYDRA/SHIELD women troops we get an AIM/Skrull one down the line (maybe the Hand too... who else would work for that, Guardsmen maybe?). I'm also still on record wanting human-sized sentinel troop builders. I'd take more Primes like we got with the big sentinel even though that would seem a little unlikely, but I'd really like some in the vein of the sentinel mobs in the old X-Men arcade game. I'd be in for a whole mess of those guys.

Think we'll get another run of the Skrulls, SHIELD Agents, and Hellfire grunts announced at Pulsecon tomorrow?

That would be nice, but I doubt we'd ever see them at that original price point again. I bought a ton of the male SHIELD agent 2-packs when they were released, but only bought one Hellfire grunt and a couple of Skrulls so I'd like more of those.

I only bought one of the AIM agents but got like 10 of those older 2-packs when they were on clearance at retail - so I'm good on those. LOL, I also bought a crap ton of the Lightyear yellow Zyclops and Drill cannons when they were clearanced out too. I have more "AIM" stuff than I could ever actually display. They'd almost be their own bookshelf themselves now rather than just a shelf. LOL, I went a little overboard.

I also only bought of those black Hand Ninjas but I've got a ton of ninjas from Marvel's previous releases plus all of the Power Rangers ninjas and Joe Classified movie Storm Shadows that I bought on deep clearance.

I received my four packs of Hydra/SHIELD female agents this week and the face printing on those extra heads are amazing!! I'd definitely buy more of these if they ever see any type of markdown -- but I don't expect that will happen.

Doesn't seem likely. It'd be nice, of course, and it seems like a no-brainer, but I feel like if we get those again it'll be some new sort of pack and a new price point.

I definitely think if they do re-releases they will be done as part of a figure 2-pack offering again..   Maybe Skrull vs Kree soldier pack...    SHIELD Agent vs Hydra or AIM or even better AIM Agent vs  Mandroid...  not sure what they'd do for Hellfire Guard - but maybe if they did the Mandroid first they could do the red version of the Mandroid with a Hellfire Guard pack?

Btw, Ollie's has Fortnite figures on sale as most of you know for like $6, and one of them in that series is Metal Mouth who makes for a really great generic army type goon for Kingpin or someone. And at that price I've got quite a lot from them, lol.

I got my Shield/Hydra pack in the other day and dang, I really like them. I really do want women Skrull and AIM troops now. Beehive helmets and wrinkle chins!

The more I think about it, the more plausible it seems to me that we'll get an upgrade to the old HYDRA, AIM, Hellfire, and SHIELD guys with the buck used in that new Deadpool pack for Bob. Two-packs similar to this one make a lot of sense, and the upgraded body might even pull in folks who got the previous packs.

"Unfortunately" I bought 4 Maria Hills. I don't want to keep buying the Hydra 2 Pack just for the Hydra Agent 🙁

With Quake, Sharon, and Maria being unique I don't think you should have trouble unloading an extra female S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.

The flaw to having multiple Maria Hill figures is that the neck and peg matches her skin tone. It doesn’t match the darker skin tone of the other two heads with short hair from the 2pk. Those will only look right on the 2pk SHIELD body because the neck and peg are blue like the uniform.

I want Hellfire goons and Skrulls.  I have two Hellfire goons, want about 4 more.  I slept on the Skrulls, stupidly.  Seems like something they should re-release, but no way they'll be under $25 these days.

I'd love some Einherjar army builders. I don't know what kind of demand there is for them, but I'd be all kinds of happy.

I also missed out on the Skrulls, so I'd appreciate another substantial run of those as well. Enough to cover the guaranteed amount people would be buying. Like, offer them for pre-order so they know how many to make instead of just making a set amount and telling the rest of us, "Oh, well. Tough luck!" My lack of Skrull goons is why I've ignored the Super-Skrull 2-pack that came out.
